lol, what's the alternative? what other phone+os combo are glowies melting about? do tell us your proposed alternative phone+os that is clearly more secure. bless us with your knowledge anon
>>
>>106525754
He never does because he's just a clanker. Glowies seethe about GrapheneOS around the world. But use that unpatched chinkphone anon, you don't believe in updooting anyway.

while titan chin and similar gimmicks and not a backdoor, and you just dunning-krugered yourself into thinking that they are, I still wouldn't want to buy pixels since they are simply overpriced, unless I would be the next snowden xhimself.

The most suspicious thing about Graphene is, that it is not used by any high value targets at all. Name me a politician, some military guy or CEO who is using Graphene. There are none.
>>
>>106526038
because they are retarded. they still keep using iphones, even though they are technically less secure against targeted attacks, because they are convenient. I can't imagine most boomers/xoomers use graphene when most of them can barely receive emails on their phones.
>>
>>106526038
doubt apple would spy on their own glowies lmao they're basically famility why wouldn't US glowies use appel?
>>
>>106526191
>they still keep using iphones,

But according to Graphene devs, iPhones are the next best choice?

You don't know what all of them use. What we do know is that they get Pegasused all the time. It cost Bezos his marriage and half his fortune, the biggest one in the world around that same time. Trump's twitter got hacked twice or thrice.

apart from the latest pixels+graphene which you conveniently ignore mentioning
>>
>>106527583
Your little article only goes up to the iPhone 14, which is something your conveniently ignored mentioning. The status of GrapheneOS was also covered by the reply chain where the GrapheneOS devs literally recommended an iPhone as a second to a GrapheneOS device, but because English is your second language, you missed this key point.
Here, try this next time you need to make a post:

NTA but what is your retarded point? Time after time we saw israeli spyware (not just cellebrite) only lacking a few months after any significant ios update at best. At the very least you'd have to agree that fully updated iphones are as secure as fully updated GOS devices meanwhile we have way more seething regarding GOS devices than iphones despite the later being way more popular.
>>
>>106527692
>NTA but what is your retarded point?
That /g/ has an endemic problem with only being able to cite sources that agree with their personal brand of propaganda.
>Time after time we saw israeli spyware (not just cellebrite) only lacking a few months after any significant ios update at best.
Sure.
>At the very least you'd have to agree that fully updated iphones are as secure as fully updated GOS devices
Yes
>meanwhile we have way more seething regarding GOS devices than iphones despite the later being way more popular.
Pretty much all of this comes from Indians with Xiaomis defending their poverty.
>>
>>106527723
>Pretty much all of this comes from Indians with Xiaomis defending their poverty.
Or police forces around the world realizing GOS phone turn off by themselves after a short period and go back into being a BFU status, or spanish police complaining about drug dealers using GOS and their phones being inaccessible to them because of that
>>
>>106525017
He should have bought the 2000$ scam phone just for laughs. In any case, linux phone on the oneplus is probably the best alternative for now until someone makes a secure version of Lineage or COO/Oxygen just to avoid having to buy a pixel for graphene. Even for linux, 4 GB is simply too little, unless you just want a texting machine(which in all honesty that’s what most people want anyway)
>>
>>106527810
his OP6T in his video is a 7 years old phone which has 8GB RAM 256GB storage variants, from 2018...
whatever tf happened to mobile phones today is absolutely insane, both for price and hardware requirments for handheld slop needs which cannot possibly match a fucking PC. there's no fuckin justification for >8GB RAM there's no fucking way unless the slop is specifically designed/unoptimized so it pushes you into buying higher spec shit so your windows still open in a reasonable time. whatever tf is happening is surely a scam, phone apps cannot possibly require those resources it's just not real it's a scam they have sleep statements or something
>>
>>106527873
Well, that was my point. Linux phone isn’t the reason we need more than 4 GB, but anything that we could probably get to run on it will easily chew through more than 4 GB. I agree with you, it’s indian developers , trillions of trackers and what not… but the point still stands.
>>

I threw out my pinephone for that reason, like can't have my actual SIM card in there.
I just expected it would be a nice note taking device or GPS device once I turn all the switches on the device, but nope.
>>
As opposed to what? Samsung? iPhone? You demoralization fags never answer this.
>>
I have Graphene and I know there's probably a hardware backdoor and the NSA can probably still listen to me through my microphone, but my thinking when I got it which I still stand behind is "at very worst it's the same as a regular iphone/android"
