Thumbnails are useless. By the time I find the reaction pic I'm looking for the moment is gone and it takes 10 minutes at best. We should always have used tags by default. Tags would have made the useless gnome search work but since gnome is shit that's not happening. Here is a test workflow I'm trying out with tmsu. Use filename for tags as 'tag1 tag2 tag3.jpg' instead of 1745612650141704.jpg and later run script to import into tmsu database. Now you find the file FAST with the tags in the shitty gtk3 open files window. All files are in a single folder for portability. Thoughts?
