Have been using some type of Mozilla / Netscape-derived browser on my primary computing devices since about 1998. Started with Netscape Navigator, moved onto Mozilla Suite, found my way over to Firefox, K-Meleon, Camino, and IceCat. Currently using either IceCat or Firefox ESR on all of my PCs, and IronFox on Android (Firefox Mobile, the way God intended it to be). Couldn't be more pleased with these choices.

When I absolutely need glowgle chromeshittery, I reluctantly use Brave (with tons of flags and "features" disabled), but the Fox is still tops. Best extension ecosystem, and literally more flexible than any other browser can dream of.

Get a load of this luddite using failfox instead of a browser optimised for the modern web like Chrome

Firefox used to be a good web browser before Mozilla started shoving politics down users' throats. It's strange that Americans feel the need to politicize everything.
>>
Firefox Mobile is the only browser (engine) that allows me to install any extension. Even from outside their store, such as bypass paywalls clean.
I just wish they'd stop fucking around with the interface all the time, or at least give users the option to revert it.
Actually, one of the big pros for desktop firefox is being able to customize near everything in about:config and with userContent.css and userChrome.css. Mobile Firefox is severly lacking in that department.

Yeah, I'm sure that your little girl feefees were ruined and then you cried. Fuck off. Plemty of software is made by trannies and it works fine. And that's probably true for chuds as well, maybe just not in the same proportion, but that's how the autism winds blow.

Tell me about that view source extension, what makes it better than the standard built-in stuff?

>before Mozilla started shoving politics down users' throats
It never did. Anons explicitly digging out blog posts and spreading them is not Mozilla shoving it down your throat. Normal users will notice very little politics from Mozilla. At most you may see a picture of a black person used as a stock image somewhere.

It's frightening how quickly people have forgotten the propaganda articles from Mozilla in the Firefox's new tab pages.
>>
>>106530618
NTA, but when was this? I never let Firefox dictate what shows up on the new tab page. Apparently they're adding widgets to it now, maybe I'll give it a try, but I prefer to make my own.

If that pic is what you're referring to, that's a non-issue. The way it was described earlier, I was expecting something like "donate to these black trans athletes to own Drumpf!" tier articles. Everyone does the hand picked news thing. Windows has it by default, phone makers tend to include it. I'm not saying it's good, just that for some reason it's the industry standard.

Meant solely for mobile. It saves you from taking a few seconds to type "view-source:" and hit enter with your on-screen keyboard. That's it.

lmao

They were just random popular news articles. Also, I aways turned pocket off immediately.

and how does it affect a browser?
is there any active algorithm within the browser to censor or change the results or websites you're browsing?
i doubt it
in fact even if Mozilla CEO was eating poop for lunch I would not care much as long as the browser remains the most customisable browser available
now if you show me a proof that they are injecting stuff in the browser to influence my browsing experience, I'll be interested to know
