>>106538524fair. i had a pixel 7 that i replaced 2 weeks before end of 1 year warranty because the battery swelled up and popped the screen off. before that, the lock button flew out because one of the rubber fixtures for the button basically crumbled. on the replacement i accidentally smashed the screen back panel, destroying the camera glass and permanently damaging the lens (shards or dirt got under it). i took it to repair and they quoted me north of 400eur, at which point i was like nah lol, i'm gonna get a new phone. hence why no longer into pixels and in the market for fp6 which i can (theoretically) fix myself without becoming a jeet phone repair store
I didn't think upgrading from my pixel 7 would be this hard...right now iPhone 17 is looking to be the only viable option.
