no, not at all. my desktop runs a 4080 Super with Xlibre and it works fine. I just disabled it because I don't need it. the listing I bought the laptop from didn't mention the card so I thought it wouldn't have it, I'd have preferred it that way kek

anon, the 4080 Super is in my desktop, not in my Thinkpad kek. the Thinkpad has an MX150 2GB, it's really not a powerful GPU
of course I use my desktop's GPU, I wouldn't have bought it otherwise
