You're not using Node.js, are you?
>>
I hate the npm ecosystem. Worst part about node. Dependency-maxxing has failed and people need to learn how to just write the helper method or class if it only takes a day to do it.

not anybody's fault that you don't know how to use the tools properly.
>still using npm and yarn (without pnpm) in 2025

yarn 4 defaults to symbolic links, you can use a .yarnrc.yml if you want to have back the old yarn behavior with node_modules.
But maybe I am retarded here, tailwind has some problems with symbolic links, I am forced to use the .yarnrc.yml to get old node_modules method to get tailwind working.

All webshitters should be razed from the earth. JavaScript is the Sodom and Gomorrah of programming

They really say this geg
>>

Purely exhausting. I entered this space to create things not spend more time on my local setup and environment. If your framework isn't download and start building it's shit. This is the framework's job. C#/.NET is more like this, and it's become more mature as they already had their DLL hell era in the 2000's.

i agree
just use deno with deno standard library
covers 99% of all common use cases

npm is actual AIDS and needs to be replaced with a campaign similar to the kill IE6 campaign.

That's why I prefer when distros pack shit.
Why do we need 100 updates on a lib every year?
The run towards bleeding edge ruined programming.

This is wrong. Dependency-maxxing is the only reason it's usable. It's no different than Java or C# in this regard anyway so I don't know what you stupid faggot anti dependency retards come from.
>>
>>106537567
Why would I use node? I work on important things and I hate javascript. Doesn't everyone hate JS? Why would you want to use node?
>>
>>106539091
If your important thing doesn't have a web app, it's probably not that important desu. The web is basically the only sane application distribution platform in 2025 and thus you'll be forced to use and know JS anyway.

>>
>>106539219
ad money is the only form of monetary value the internet provides these days
>>
>>106539164
the fact that web technologies and js as a whole is a fragmented mess compared to low level code where you mostly only need a compiler and a standard library
>>

Some new language will take over by then.

really? there hasn't been jack shit for interesting languages in over a decade now. Literally the best you get these days are what... BQN? LMAO
Jai I guess? Will that be released within 30 years?

nigger, it's you who never worked

Whatever it is, it'll probably be coded in Rust or Zig.

It's funny because there have been so many 9 figure hacks, and even one or two billion dollar hacks.
This is probably the biggest failure of all time relative to what it could have been.
Even then, frontend hacks or domain hijacks are pretty common. They're definitely the weakest link in crypto.
iirc one hack that was over $1 billion in eth was a frontend hack that did something similar to what this did with replacing the receiving address of multisignature tool via it's compromised frontend.
