How do we save LTT?
>>106542041Go back to three employees in the Langley house
if youtube celebs are so great then why don't they create their own streaming website?
>>106542072they did...
>>106542041they're gonna have to pivot to tiktok, unironically.his fanbase has kids now, no time to watch tech-inspired entertainment
>>106542041Emily detransition
>>106542100Could you imagine? It could be a full circle episode bringing it all back.“That’s right! The Boys are…*camera shot change* back in town! And just in time for today’s sponsor…
>>106542041https://youtu.be/q5-b7v6EIzcIt's apparently something to do with the currytube algorythm right now, or it could just be because ltt is shit.
>>106542138They could make a whole skit about burying "emily" underneath his new lounge area in his house so he could claim even more shit as business related and deductible.
>>106542168I've only seen shit channels complain about this.
you joined the rat race of clickbait titles, basedjack thumbnails and high volume low quality content targeting children. have fun circling the drain with everyone else when the algo flips
why does every youtuber decide they want to take on as much overhead as they possibly can as soon as they start turning a profit? production value is unbelievably cheap at this point. rent a basic fucking studio space, pay a camera man, pay an editor, profittttttttt. stop buying warehouses and bullshit nobody cares about. you will never be a cable network show. NOBODYE EVER WANTED YOU TO BE A CABLE NETWORK SHOW
>>106542041Make it a gaming channel
>>106542224His bug wife parents would never approve of 5 niggaz in a studio making videos, he has to be the CEO of a giant company with multiple departments and massive headcount
>>106542177Oh god lol
>>106542072He already has one called Floatplane.
>>106542244Imagine changing your company for a woman that's hardly even mid.
>>106542100Xhe doesn't work there anymore why would that matter
>>106542224I wonder if it’s like restaurants pursuing rapid expansion once they have something that works. It happens in gaming too. FF1 was coded by like 5 people. How many did FF16 need?
Had years to come up with an exit strategy, for getting out when youtube went in the shitter (because everything peaks) or pivoting toward something congruent. Goes to show you that most of channels only got successful because of luck/timing.
>Build your entire company within someone elses platform>Expect the platform to always accommodate your basedboy face thumbnails and clickbait titles
>>106542168their content sucks now and all the good hosts left or trooned out
>THIS THREAD AGAINI WANT THE FAGGOT KIDS TO GET THE FUCK OUT
>>106542275No clue. I imagine at least a gaming studio can go acquire some capital backing for all the people they hire, meanwhile linus is paying that out of pocket. it just blows my mind; these creators dont realize just how nice their incredibly low overhead business model is. well paying job they can run from a spare bedroom. and they nuke it on the assumption line will go up for every well performing video is their new norm. i guess just goes to show why average people should not run a business, even with all the safety rails of basically being a jewgle employee they still self nuke because they just HAVE to have a warehouse
>>106542224Reminds me of second wind. The entire point was that Yahtzee could strike out on his own at any point, but when he does he brings a dozen worthless carry-ons who do nothing but use his channel to spring board their own careers at the detriment to his risky new venture and sole career. You can look at the channel and see right now, there's fully ramblomatic doing all the work, and then there's everything else. The disparity in views is incredible. It's all the managers fault, for some reason Yahtzee needs a fucking manager to basically tell him to make videos he was already going to make, but mainly to tard wrangle others for him. Now he's paying the rent of a dozen other people who bring down his entire business. Not that I care about someone else's money but it's just insane he's letting a dozen parasites leech off his success for virtually zero benefit to himself
>>106542344I had to take a look for myself, sure enough, the stupid cunt is blaming YouTubes algorithm. The entire channel is fucking SLOP. Not a single video is worth watching. Mainly because nobody wants a channel with more than 3 different hosts, they want to know who they're watching. Every video has a completely random host, usually some low energy monotone zoomer who licked out and lacks any talent for video essays. I'd feel bad because I miss ZP, but Yahtzee himself is retarded so he needs to reap what he sows
>>106542344i feel like ive seen this same arc happen on a number of creators of all different kinds of content. podcast guys building studios. asmr channels building studios. fucking NoJumper building a new studio every year. inevitably they end up making an eBegging video about viewcounts being down and hitting financial trouble.Meanwhile guys like Louis Rossman or Cumtown just profitting hand over fist recording shit in their living room.Linus especially doesnt need a fucking warehouse. What about a LTT video screams for high end production value? This isn't whistlin Diesel running over a cybertruck with a tank. It's a hard drive review.
>>106542041He has to have sex with Emily on live stream. It's the path of redemption... Through sin.
>>106542338>>106542338I was into Video Production pretty seriously during YouTube’s early days (hosting my stuff on Google Video when it was a competitor) and one of the things I had already learned at that point was that it was best to make videos with small teams but change the people each time. So, I always had little overhead. I agree that it’s the best way to go.These days I make videos about my times VRchat and my channel is private/requires the URL to get to. I think it’s great operating as a relative unknown. People ask me all the time why I refuse to become YouTube famous. I can just about imagine the rat race that would become. No thanks, I’ll bide my time and keep flying under the radar. I’ve had the same friends for like seven years now so I’m doing something right.
>>106542378I don't get it either, but that's kind of the point. These people got lucky and became influencers because of their personality, not because they are business savvy. They're mostly morons, and when they start making some real dosh from farting into a mix they get that gamblers fallacy where they think they just need to up their game and automatically get more views and money. In second wind's instance, they brought on a dozen fucking chimps to head production before the idea was even conceived and now they're sinking faster than Machinima.
>>106542382I read this as Emiru. Isn’t that the cute long haired midriff queen? On a related note, what’s gonna happen to these people as they age? Are they gonna start battling their own YouTube videos?
>>106542415I just think of this idiot getting clowned by an editor in his bedroom. It’s great.https://youtu.be/h4SMSCKOXO8
>>106542440Dunkey stays winning. He had a single business idea to become a video game producer and all he needed to do was invest in a single game, promote it on his channel and share the profits. All while raising a baby. If every video game channel did that then the indie market would be fucking incredible.
>>106542440kek i did not know about this.goes to my point; business is just a costume to these guys. acquiring one brand deal for their internet content put the idea in their head that 'i'm doing a fucking business bro' and suddenly their mental model is that they're elon musk and not a guy in a monkey suit
>>106542041Buying Framework laptop
spotify will literally pay you $100 million dollars to do weekly podcasts from a corner of your house on a 2010s webcam and shill michelob ultra.meanwhile linus built an entire warehouse to store hardware that gets used once for benchmarking and then cataloged and hoarded by several austists on salary
>>106542041I had to unsubscribe because every video is slop
>>106542440>react slopFaggot
LTT doesnt need a dedicated testing lab for yearly gpu releases, 100 staff and a CEO on payroll
>>106542041If he wants to be a CEO of a big company he has to act like one and cut costs. Close down unprofitable channels and fire some shitters.
>>106542041They stop massive projects trying to impress people.
>>106542224he said that his goal with ltt from the beginning was to turn it into a real professional company not just a dude making videoswhich is hilarious because that has become his downfall
>>106542955that was just to kill steve who ended up winning anyway>>106543197he isn't the CEO
>>106543410the labs tm watermarks just makes me cringe. he's being a tryhard now
>>106542070This.I miss seeing the upstairs bathroom/server room.
>>106542177What the fuck
>>106542219This but unironically
