It works, but it's inefficient because instead of incrementing and then checking if the number is odd, you can simply write "for(int i=1; i<=100; i=i+2)" and print all the numbers without needing to check them.

Nothing. You could just start with 1 and then while the number is less than 100, add 2 and print out that number, but there's nothing egregiously wrong with this code other than it being in Java. It's just mildy inefficient

I conjecture that a lot of kiosks using touch screens have that strange flavor of Linux on them. Everything from those bottle return machines at supermarkets, card readers, vending machines, and even ATMs and that thing at the DMV that gives you a temporary driver's licence. I'm guessing there is a ready made distro that's easy to modify and runs on potatoes made for just that purpose that gets used all the time and nobody really notices because it just doesn't break enough for anyone to care.

>>
>>106562807
Paying $10 for a chip running Linux or $1 for an esp32 doesn't make a difference for enterprise machines costing a thousand bucks.

It's also easier to replicate issues and piggyback on Linux kernel development. Embedded systems as a field is essentially dead after the internet-of-things fad died.
