Are these features worth the extra $300 ?

>4x and 8x zoom
>bigger battery
>usb 3 vs 2
>vapor chamber
>lidar
>4gb ram more
>>
>>106552193
>Pay $800
>Get USB 2
>>
>>106552193
It's worth it only for the ability to get you underage pussy
>>
Look up how much a mirrorless camera with 8x zoom lens is. Yes of course it is worth it.
>>
>>106552410
>2010+15
>transferring files over usb
who still does this?
>>
>>106552193
Sensor is slightly bigger on the main camera on the Pro than the base.
Also, it's not $799 for base. It's $830 for unlocked. So the difference is actually $270.
>>
At what point are people just going to fork 1500$ for an actual camera system and big lenses + use a 200$ android phone with 120hz oled screen
>>
size is the only thing that sucks desu
if they didn't replace the plus with the shitty air I wouldn't even bother with the pro
probably would even consider just getting a 16 pro max instead for cheaper
>>
>>106552555
cope itoddler, even 20 dollar android phones has usb 3
>>

lol

And do they have airplay which is infinitely faster?

Youre the one that moved the goalpost by bringing up usb 3. Which is capped at 100 mbps btw. Totally fucking useless.

unless somebody needs those features, probably not.
>>
>>106552837
when they build a camera that syncs to your phone and transfers the images immediately
thats also the size of say one of those cheap disposable cameras
>>
>>106552837
When cameras can send photos and messages probably. Dumb fuck
>>
>>106552950
retard usb-c has usb 3 speeds by DEFAULT, imagine paying 800$ for a device with gimped usb speds.
>>

>>
>>106552975
I feel sorry for you. You dont even know how technology works.
>>
>>106552981
funny how every other phone with a usb-c port has usb 3 speeds, ONLY apple ships phones that run at usb 2
>>
>>106552995
Theres not a single android phone with usb 3 speeds. Best it can do is 25% of usb3 speeds.
>>
>>106552963
>when they build a camera that syncs to your phone and transfers the images immediately
They already do that. Have for a while actually.
>thats also the size of say one of those cheap disposable cameras
Yeah they do that too.
It's really because no one wants to carry around two devices, and they don't actually care about taking photos anyway, they just can't stand the thought that there's something better than what they have out there.
>>
>>106552967
use your 200$ phone to do that?
>>
>>106553002
you are going to need to provide proof for that claim, also the iphone can't even reach that 25% thanks to apple gimping the usb port
>>
>>106553020
Airplay is literally faster than that. Tou dont even have a phone with usb 3 do you lmao. You should know no?
>>
>>106553029
i do which is why i know that your lying, also wired will always be faster than wireless

I can Airdrop a 2 gigabyte video in 5 seconds.
>>
>>106553104
but were not talking about airdrop, we are talking about transferring files over usb
>>
>>106553104
also i doubt that what you're saying is true
>>
>>106552900
MTP/PTP fucks over Android so much that it wouldn't even matter if you had USB2 or USB3 unless you're just plugging in an external drive into your phone which is genuinely the only justification for one or the other
Fucking nightmare every time trying to drag and drop my 130GB music collection with the "Device is busy" bullshit I have no idea what the actual progress is because of that. It's better just to use LocalSend or even run Syncthing for that shit wirelessly.
I've actively avoided trying to use wired transfer on Android for batch jobs like that because of how Android handles this shit. Maybe one or two files that's fine whatever but even then it's not that bad.
And wired transferring on iOS is useless too because it doesn't even act like a storage device it's for the most part iTunes only which is gay and why I'll never take iShart devices seriously. And Airdrop, iCloud Drive, or an app's jank workaround by hosting a FTP server beats the fuck out of using something outdated like iTunes
>>

kek its only 16 bucks more and its bigger so yes.
>>
>>106553020
iPhone usb 2.0 is unironically faster than android usb “3.0”

you can also plug a type-c monitor into any iphone (except 16e), most android phones don't support type-c monitors at all
>>

you can plug any monitor with a usbc to hdmi, afaik.
>>
>>106552193
not for me
also its 1000€ for the base and 1350€ for the pro here :^)
>>
>>106552193
screen size is king. Unless they make a non-pro Max version there's no choice
>>
>>106552480
There is no 8x zoom. It's just cropping from 4x.
>>
>>106552193
I'm thinking of switching from Android but I would need to buy the Airpods Pro as well.
I'd rather save money and get the normal iPhone now that it has a 120hz screen and use the savings to buy the airpods with it.

why did they think it was ok to give the Pro shittier color options?
>>
>>106552193
don't care about any of those features. would pay $10k for nato orange alone
>>
>>106555697
wrong, it's not a simple crop from 4x. whole image processing pipeline is run through it.
>>
>>106557127
exactly because it's a pro.
unibody makes it extremely robust. anodizing an aluminum unibody might restrict your color choices compared to a glass back but it's worth.
>>
>>106552193
base iphone is finally best value now that it has 120hz screen. I’ll still get the pro for battery life however

apple fanboyism is a mental illness
>>

not really. especially since the pro looks very ugly now.
>>
>>106552193
Im gonna ask the most important question regarding the new iphone and i better get an honest answer
Is it made in india?
>>
>>106552410
A lot of mid to high range Android phones are still gimped with usb2.
>>106552555
Tethering 5g at full speed with a device without wifi6/7.
Sure the industry wants to get rid of all wired communications. It is easier to get cutting edge wireless routers and have 5gbps out of a 10gbps fiber connection. 10gbe is still elitist at this point.
>>
>>106552410
>wasting die space on a faster controller that 2% of users will use
you should be criticizing the lack of wifi7
