Like I look it up and then I see there's a shitload of "wallet sites" and "exchange sites" and currency values are everywhere and something called Monero has the best exchange but might be the slowest and not accepted but Bitcoin is super slow and has bad exchanges so $60 USD of crypto could cost like $100 due to exchanges? if you want to buy crypto you go to a exchange, once you buy the crypto there (bitcoin,xrp,etc) you send it to your wallet.

once its in your wallet you spend it however you want. for example buying a 4chan pass makes you send money from your wallet to their wallet. its as simple as copy pasting a code.

you can also cash out your crypto back to real money using that exchange previously.
