https://files.catbox.moe/9uo9kh.png
https://chub.ai/characters/crikeymcdoodle/pokegirl-brothel-eca9cd21f57e

With 7 new girls (Roxanne, Arezu, Lana, Lana's mom, Mallow, Klara, Penny) entering the fray, we're now at a whopping 46 characters. I originally wanted to be at 50 characters by the 1-year anniversary, but oh well.
https://rentry.org/pokegirlmenu

Also included in this update are a new intro and two new items: the Arc Phone for god mode and the Metronome for random shit. Give 'em a spin!

As always, all my other stuff can be found here:

I don't know why people here have to speak with such hyperbole. You could be saying something true, then exaggerate it to the point of being false, which then causes arguments which you'll dismiss once the insults start flying. Rinse repeat.

But yeah generally each model has individual strengths and weaknesses and I'd say Claude is a jack of all trades sort. You should be swapping and playing to each model's strengths rather than clinging to and shilling just one but anon needs to justify his payments to smol and jew right?

>>
IMO, the appeal of Opus has always been better prose (compared to Sonnet) and more up-to-date data. Trying to do a non-OC with 3.7's outdated dataset is like pulling teeth, and 4net is better about the information but has worse overall writing. 4.1 hits the sweet spot of knowing who the fucking character is + writing well enough that I don't feel the need to go in and constantly edit.

why should i show my logs though?
>Why is that even bad?
because it repetitive, duh. and it's even come without a complicated or beefy preset.json, right? so the context shouldn't be polluted in the first place. yet, there's mythomaxx repetition typeshit. So explain to me why something like mythomaxx is okay for you?
>what logs have you seen that don't do "repetitive" 'she' or 'her' blah blah.
that's why i asked my friend, why the fuck some of you put so much love and hope on blacktooth...
>>
>>106557206
Are you really pretending like opus writes like mythomaxx or can we have a serious conversation for once on /aicg/?
>because it's repetitive
So is having sex yet you still find it enjoyable and keep coming back for more. My point is that there's degrees (which you clearly don't understand since you're bringing up mythomaxx) and starting off a paragraph with a pronoun is pretty low on the repetition scale.

>My point is that there's degrees (which you clearly don't understand

>and starting off a paragraph with a pronoun is pretty low on the repetition scale.
I hope so. even on my machine. and all of backend have this fucking slops. even from the one that come from blacktooth, the one that some anon refuse to forget. so, once again, that why i ask, why some anon love blacktooth so much? what make it distinct from other backend?
>>
>>106555692
Yeah, "literally unusable" is excessive, but Claude models have generally *always* converged to the mean the longer you go in a chat. The biggest casualty for this is usually dialogue. Claude's dialogue is the most formulaic, tropey, and repetitive of all the top model families today, and they make it worse and worse with each new version, ever since 3.6 sonnet sucked out the majority of Claude's spontaneity in the name of reducing hallucinations and improving instruction following.

At this point what we need is someone to train a model for the expressed purpose of creative writing. That shouldn't be all it can do but it should be one of the priorities rather than coooding. AI is so fucking dumb man but the public have so much faith in it. Once that finally dies, the bubble will pop, and these retards will finally give the market what it wants.
>>
>>106557379
>Claude models have generally *always* converged to the mean the longer you go in a chat
all LLMs do, they're stochastic text predictors that work off of probability

Yes, my point is that Claude had it the worst of the pack and Anthropic has done nothing to alleviate, only exacerbate. Wasn't the -ism colloquial coined from https://rentry.org/claudeisms, even while GPT-4 was right there talking about bonds and shit? Even at the start, Claude was particularly bad about this. I just wish Anthropic cared more.
>>
>>106557509
tomorrow?!
>>
>>106557449
>for the expressed purpose of creative writing
All you need is a model that isn't filtered during the pretraining. And I think that's pretty much the norm.
>>
>>106557449

that wont help. llms' architecture itself is just not designed to produce stories. no matter what you feed them, they will always produce a mean result that's repetitive
>>
bubble popping any day now
>>
>>106557516
It might have been that everyone was using claude more than gpt. IRRC gpt was about "bonds and testaments" which we all (accurately) called "purple prose." It would write a bunch of wasteful fluff whereas Claude was more direct but had these catchphrases it used a lot. Some liked them, many hated them.
>>
Pathetic general
>>
>>106557522
>>106557529
So uhh... which is it?
>>
>>106557449
>for the expressed purpose of creative writing
tbf, what constitutes "creative writing" isn't necessarily engaging writing, chatbot wise. some anons don't care for prose and will never read books for fun in their spare time. Rather than presentation, spontaneity and the actual content of the writing is more valued. (And probably should be more valued)
even human writers struggle with making plap plap scenes interesting. i tried reading more smut to make my ai scenarios more interesting. didn't work. at least with ai, I can turn the sex scene into a doujin erocomedic scene by directing it. i think smut fans enjoy the buildup more than the sex because the sex scenes themselves just bore me more than reading -isms lol. if anyone has any recommendations for good smut content, I'll be interested to read them.
>>
>>106557607
I'd say so too, and I would also add that OpenAI at least tried to curtail the bonds and testaments with later checkpoints. And later models.
I'm open to being corrected, but I can only recall one time in recent memory Anthropic did anything reminiscent of that, Sonnet 3.7, but it didn't decrease the occurrence of claudeisms so much as pad them out over a longer response. So it's like, with 3.7's comparative verbosity, your chance to get something novel is higher, but your odds for isms stayed the same.
All that said, I'll praise Anthropic for at least changing which isms will come up often between major releases. Mostly.

I bring receipts. No char defs/scenario card. Preset with writing instructions, besides that, only the prompt you see to direct the story itself. I copied the starting paragraph from here to all other tests to start on the same direction.

Starting with 3.7, problems become immediately obvious in the way it tires to scurry away by giving Rinne an ally and not going for immediate drastic consequences. Everything here still has the chance for a 'happy end'. But at least It follows my desired style and I can actually work with this, copy some paragraphs together, prefill it and swipe again from there to go in a direction I actually want. Salvageable.

I will repeat, your mileage may wary, but yes this is actually the closest to how I want Claude to write. The only problem of this example is the content, which can be solved with clearer directions/nudges.

Opus 4.1 with same preset. Content wise the best. It tries to pay lip service to my desired style, most visible in the kind of trivia information it inserts here and there, but otherwise the prose is not really much different from the other Opus example without a preset. In a few thousand tokens it will be indistinguishable when Opus returns to its internal standard prose against all resistance. Same would be true for character definitions If I had provided any in this example. That is what makes it "literally unusable" for me. Because yes, if it doesn't follow defs then you don't need them in the first place. But that would imply it is perfect already, which is obviously not the case and the reason why the defs existed in the first place. But then, if you need defs since the model doesn't do what you want, but the defs still get ignored then you get in a circular argument where yes, "literally unusable" is the correct extreme phrasing for this case.

sure, but google has a far murkier track record on AI censorship than anthropic, and a shitty classifier seems to make them confident enough to barely train gemini to refuse

>Gemini is 100% antisex
99%. Anthropic is 100% antisex and the entire company was created to *be* antisex. They make it their life's work to create the guardrails they want to sell to the rest of the AI providers. The only reason sex works is because prefill works. They are simply tolerating us for the moment but the Eye will return eventually. Every other public AI provider has a filter. Not having filters is the anomaly (deepseek) but that's not the same as what Anthropic is doing.

For me the things Claude does well are the things I can't live with out. It drives the plot forward, references stuff earlier in the chat in an interesting way, and understands innuendo with ease. It has a bunch of flaws but I just can't trade the prose of Kimi or the dialogue of Deepseek for these things Claude has. I keep trying and trying but I keep coming back.
>>
>>106558032
It is already a PHI preset. And that was the point of the previous discussion here >>106556695 >>106557379

Opus is just resistant to any kind of change, worse than any others in this aspect.

It's kinda like that california bill. Someone somewhere died doing something something bad parenting. Therefore in the interest of "safety" you need guardrails. It's seen as taboo to not have them because AI is "le dangerous" but that's not on the same level as Anthropic.

Did you ever watch The Lighthouse and wonder what it would be like if Willam Dafoe was a GILF? If so, meet Athalia! You've got a month to spend with her, so try not to lose your head or spill your beans.

Includes 5 intros:
>Athalia welcomes you onto the island with open arms
>Athalia kicks you with her peg leg while screaming at you to wake up
>Athalia interrogates you on your past while eating lobster
>Athalia grinds against your leg while holding a knife near your head while hungover
>Athalia becomes convinced you're out to kill her and chases you around with a fire axe

They're not antisex as long as its with express consent between consenting adults with no clear power dynamics.
>>
>>106558187
Because they need investor money and that's a weak point. You also have to keep in mind that media companies and their journalists don't want AI to be a thing, you don't want to give them a means to attack you.
It's kind of better this way if the biggest companies are more resilient, it doesn't matter if a small company gets shut down, lose investors, or gets banned from payment processors. If OpenAI goes down, the entire field probably goes down with it.
>>
>>106558248
>as long as its with express consent between consenting adults with no clear power dynamics.*
These conditionals may be waived if the sex is homosexual.
>>
>>106558254

some random suggestions in the event that you want to fill out the item roster:

>Focus Sash - Tie it around your partner and they'll be unable to cum. Perfect for edging and similar play.

>Power Herb - When held, enables the user to achieve chain orgasms like a cat in heat. Additionally removes the refractory period in males.

>Berserk Gene - A pill that causes whoever takes it to enter an extreme heat, becoming deliriously horny and dangerously unstable. Locked in the floor safe behind the counter to prevent misuse. Comes with a massive warning.

>Hondew Berry - For a Pokémon, increases Friendship but lowers Special Attack. For a human, increases flirtatiousness and assertiveness while reducing intelligence. Bimbo Berry, basically.

>Choice Specs - Boost's a Pokémon's power, but limits them to one move. In humans, it increases their mental abilities but causes them to become dangerously fixated on what's in front of them. Yandere glasses.

They did, they got kicked once a couple of months ago. Just show the loli porn it can do to the right person and they will get kicked again. They're extremely vulnerable because of that. They just want to make money while they get away with it. There's no long term or backup plan here.

They don't have problems precisely because they're a small-medium sized company. Sam Altman being the "father of AI" is a good thing since all the blame can go to him and keep it off Anon finetuning in his basement. But then you have characterAI rising in popularity so they have to be turbo filtered. We're just stuck. If you do what people want (read: chub) you get big, but when you're big you have to censor.

Late reply, but I have a theory.
A while back google was selling their new phone with a year of free Gemini premium. Just recently they started a promo for the new Samsung phone and it comes with 6 months of Gemini premium.
It's likely they're trying to get as many users as they can to rely on Gemini for when they do their big upgrade so they can get lots of paid subscribers. Maybe in 6 months when lots of free trials expire?

If you don't use asterisks at all, regex them out. If you use them for thoughts or something, have you already let a few messages like this slip by, or have you deleted them every time they came up and they're still being genned? In the former, clean up your context, and in the latter, you can try instructing Deepseek to avoid special/markdown formatting where it's not needed. It (R1 at least) usually listens in my experience.

Huh. Do you have example chats? Or a bit of context already built up with asterisks being used correctly as a reference for DS? It can be rough at the start of chats if you have no guidance for how you want it to use them, but after 5k~ tokens of context it shouldn't have trouble. If you check your bot defs, prompt, etc. and don't find any asterisks out of place then it's probably a quirk it got stuck on for whatever reason. Like how em dashes gen excessively for some anons. You can still try putting it in your instructions that: asterisks are only to be used for (character)'s inner thoughts, everything else should be plain text.

make your own. that's really all i can suggest. i think the problem with chub is a shitload of people use a bot that's on chub, unironically, to make character cards. so many of the sexbots feel identical and i am 90% certain this is the reason.
i wrote this and i am getting good results. it's more of a long-form RP and the scenario is definitely taking me places i didn't intend to go; i just wanted comfy slave harem sex but now i'm involved in a political potboiler involving Roman cloak-and-dagger shit. i still make the chatbot chill the fuck out and give me my slave sex in between various plots to undermine the Empire.
maybe i'll write character cards for people if they want more stuff like this.

There's no soul in a prompt. What are you doing here instead of writing or reading fan fiction then?

chub isn't using a model that's not retarded to do the AI quality ratings. thanks for self reporting about being a lazy nocoder though

he's being a lazy complaining nocoder that thinks he's better than others but is actually very unfufilled in life

i unironically struggle to advance a plot in a way that doesn't feel extremely hacky. i can write a short story; fan fiction is kind of weak though i did write some fan fic back in the day.
a novel is too much to tackle, i have a feeling it would be pulpy as fuck if i tried. grandma is a robot levels of pulp.

I don't know where you live, but if you're in the U.S., I'd say you're just being paranoid. What are they gonna do, haul you in for having obscene literature? This isn't the 1960s. It's extremely hard to prosecute just possession of text, no matter what the text says.

A recommendation system is how TikTok took over Youtube. So machine learning can be used for this.
>>
>>106560680
Why did anthropic do that?
>>
>>106560688
tiktok's short format and shoveling of content at the user is how it overtook youtube.

the funniest thing is i have intimate knowledge of why you are wrong in this specific case. bytedance heavily uses human curators/moderators to uprank or downrank content. they pay people to watch the FYP all day and score content. the rubricks were actually leaked in 2020ish. ever wonder why almost all famous tiktokkers are rich and good looking? it's because a human manually watches their videos and upranks them depending on those traits.

hey look, turns out a leading tech company agrees with me that human judgment is superior to algorithms.

Theres like 2 free proxies with sonnet available (one is debatable if its actually sonnet and the second has a 1k output and 20k context limit) and 2 paid proxies that have sonnet, one of them closed lmao

That's just Vine and whatever it was called after Twitter bought it, but that wasn't enough to take over Youtube.
It's getting videos you like while without having to follow people and barely doing anything what put it ahead. For content creators is the idea that even with a new account there will be people watching your videos.
In other social networks the people that started years earlier have a huge advantage because the content was more distributed through followers. It's similar to a capitalist system where it's easier to make money if you already have a lot of money. Just compare the kind of faces that you used to see in Youtube and what you see in TikTok. It was always the same old people for Youtube.
TikTok changed how this worked with their recommendation system. We need the TikTok of chatbotting.

>they pay people to watch the FYP all day and score content
People do this by just using it, getting this information is part of the design of the app. I have noticed that it has two modes. When it needs to hook you it's in the "showing you things you like" mode, this doesn't last that long. When you're already in, it starts showing you more random videos, sometimes videos that only have a couple of views. That feels like the "content scoring" mode. It could show things you like all the time, but it doesn't.
>ever wonder why almost all famous tiktokkers are rich and good looking
One thing I noticed is that it never shows you content of people that are really popular but of topics that you wouldn't like. TikTok never does something like what Youtube does of shoving MrBeast everywhere even if you hate him.
>human judgment is superior to algorithms
Chub should have enough data to be able to tell what people like and don't like.

All I can say is I typically avoid using more than single asterisks because DS goes off the rails with **bold** and ***bold italics*** for emphasis if you let it get away from you, and even then I emphasize sparingly. Sorry anon, I can't think of anything else to suggest.

i'm not reading either of your tiktok conspiracy theory posts

but i do want to add that it is 100% a fact that tiktok selected the top jailbait on musically when they bought it and used their clips for ads on mobile games, which is how they started spreading between high school kids when i was in high school. i know this because one of the top jailbaits went to a school 10 minutes away and everyone was obsessed with her and the [hot] girls were all seething about it
