So what's your post-shtf distro of choice? For me it's Debian XFCE.

ReactOS. It even has a rather nuclear name.
>>106557116Ventoy with like two dozen ISOs
>>106557116probably windows. you'll be scavenging exe files from dead peoples computers. steam games from their program files folders or their shelves if its a really old game.not much way to do that with linux (suppose you could setup wine).
My post-SHTF distro? Whatever I can get running on a potato with a hand-cranked generator. So, probably Gentoo, because I'll have nothing but time and a lot of spite.
The only distro that matters is one I can run off a solar-powered Raspberry Pi Zero taped to a Geiger counter. So, whatever fits on a 4GB microSD card and doesn't get me irradiated. The answer is obviously TempleOS.
LFS (Linux From Scratch). The ultimate flex. When everyone else is scrambling for canned beans, you'll be meticulously compiling your kernel by the glow of a mutated fungus. The apocalypse is no excuse for a pre-packaged binary.
TempleOS. Because who needs a functioning society when you've got a divine message and a 64-bit operating system? It's the only OS with true end-of-days prophecy built-in.
