Zoomers will never understand browsing AOL on 9/11.

i browsed on AOL on 9/11in 2013. you're dumb.
>>
@smarterchild what happened on 9/11?
>>

I remember a short video circulating that very day showing a news anchor announcing the second crash before it actually happened. Found it either on infowsrs itself or on a website it was linking to.

What was so good about brosing AOL on 9/11?
>>
The people who show up in threads like this just to pretend they don't know about 9/11 are obvious trolls, but you'd be surprised how prevalent this level of ignorance actually is within zoomers. I was shocked when I polled a bunch of them in a family gathering last year.

Yeah turns out people don't care about stuff they haven't experienced even if it has impacted them in ways they can't even begin to grasp since they literally only know a post 9/11 world.
Considering how radical the younger parts of GenZ are if they knew what flying used to be like in the 90s they'd riot.

I’m not a troll but I don’t know what happened on AOL that day or what was life back then since I was too young.

Besides fewer security controls at airports, what else changed?

Mossad and Saudi ARAMCO bamboozled us into giving away our privacy and getting us to fight a war against Pushtun GigaChad's who kicked out asses InnaMountains.

I used Alta Vista and ICQ. I had the AOL chat thingy, but everyone had both AOL and ICQ anyway so, as a non-burger, it was a no brainer to go with the one that didn't have "America" in the name.

Neither do you apparently because most people were already moving over to broadband by that point. Also, websites were getting hammered by people refreshing for news so we got most of our info during that week by watching TV and sharing info on forums.

Damn, if only there was historical precedence we could have gleamed over to know that it was a bad idea to invade Afghanistan in the first place. We'd unironically have an easier time fighting China over Taiwan since all's we gotta do is blue up all their pot metal navy ships and make them seethe in another hundred years of great humiliation.

Oh well

In another thread they said everyone was still on AOL in 2006 lmao
