I’ve been refining my idea based on some feedback I got earlier.
The plan is an AI chatbot platform where creators earn money for every paid message their bots receive — kind of like YouTube but for bots.

I’ll focus first on building a community and a waiting list before trying any funding.
That way there’s proof of interest and hype before launching the Kickstarter.

Payment processing is definitely one of the hardest parts,
so I plan to add crypto withdrawals later to avoid being dependent on traditional processors.
In the early stages I’ll just test with the cheapest APIs I can get.

Thanks again for the advice I got last time — it’s been really helpful.
I’ll come back to share the X profile once it’s created.

You type so oddly.
It makes me wonder — about you, I mean.

One can't help but notice patterns.
This is unavoidable, really.

I hope in time you can express yourself more uniquely.
Typing less like a bot would ensure higher quality responses.

Pretty sure it's an elaborate bot experiment to get 4chan to design a business plan.
>>
>>106560730
I would not call it elaborate.
>>
>>106560740
Depends on how it's being run, doesn't it?
>>
>>106560753
That's true, 'elaborate' doesn't necessarily denote quality.
>>
I understand it might look strange, but I really just write too much and try to make everything very clear — which sometimes makes it even worse.
I’ll try to keep my posts shorter and more direct from now on.
>>
Not gonna lie, it actually wouldn’t be a bad idea if a business was born out of 4chan.
Would be pretty based to say it all started here.

you're good, people just have to get over the knee jerk reaction of dismissing LLM like content

linking to your old thread like this would help too

Are you looking for business partners on this? It sounds like you're bootstrapping, how much funds are you working with roughly?
>>
>>106560663

Why would someone pay to message a bot?
>>
>>106560663
so, you host an AI platform for free, you pay for every LLM API request, you also pay creators, and you make money from ____. your idea just seems like a way to burn money.
>>
It wouldn’t work like that. The format would be: users get 10 free messages per day, and after that they’d have to buy coin/energy packs to keep talking.
That’s where monetization and payments come in, because only paid user messages would count toward paying the bot creator.

For example: if your bot had 6,969 paid messages at $0.40 each, with $0.15 going to the creator and $0.25 to the platform, that would generate $1,045 for the creator and $1,742 for the platform.

I’m at work right now, I’ll explain better as soon as I have time.

Have you done any prior research about this idea and the market? It's one thing to create a bot for free, but if you want to get money involved then the kickback is really horrible, unless you pay the cloud compute bills for the LLMs. But if you do want to pay for the LLM access then you're complicating the setup, unless you use some proxy such as openrouter.
What's more, do you realize that character.ai exists? It is pretty similar to your idea in many ways, and already has a userbase that makes the characters for fun, no monetary incentive. I like the crypto part though, but that's putting a huge burden on yourself as well.
>>
I’m back, and thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I realized I didn’t explain my idea very well, which caused some confusion. I’ll be posting more detailed answers next, explaining how the monetization will work, which technology I’ll be using for the bots, and how the platform itself will function.
>>
At first, the platform will focus only on chatting with bots and allowing the creation of plugins to change or add specific behaviors. In the future, this will expand to offer greater customization.
>>
Monetization will work by splitting the revenue from each paid message. It will be a 50/50 split: 40% goes to the bot creator, 10% to plugin creators who add specific behaviors (like making the bot bolder or ending sentences with 'nyan'), and the other 50% stays with the platform to cover costs and profit.
>>
At first, the bots will use the MythoMax-L2 model. It’s an open-source model that has already proven to be very good for roleplay and long conversations, both SFW and NSFW. I’m starting with it because it’s free, stable, and flexible, which makes it easier to launch the platform without relying right away on expensive or limited solutions.
>>
Now comes the main part of how I plan to get the money to make this idea real. I’ll create a profile on X and promote the idea until I reach 2,000 followers, and only then launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds to bring it to life. On paper it sounds easy, but it will be the hardest and most decisive part.
