How to not go idle in microsoft teams and pretend I'm working?
>>106561538jeets even suck at scamming
>>106561538it's easy to create a script for it i do it all the time
>>106561538>chatgpt please write me a mouse jiggler script using autohotkeyYou're welcome
SetTimer, doSomething, 180000 returndoSomething:MouseMove, 2, 0, 10, RMouseMove, -2, 0, 10, Rreturn
>>106562840my idler is a bit smarter than that. if you use a simple one like this, it's going to fire even when the screen is locked causing the screen to turn back on or make same noise. pretty unnatural if you ask me. my version stops sending updates when the screen is locked making it look more natural so I can have a lunch break and appear yellow as nature intended
>>1065615381. Open notepad2. Put something on space bar3. ???4. Profit
If you have a calendar entry it appears as red even if you dont move for hoursA colleague just setup his tasks for the as calendar entries and probably did fuck all
>>106561538If you want it completely undetectable, place the mouse on an analog clock/wristwatch with a seconds hand.
Nobody ever asked that but I would just say that teams is bugging out or that I use the browser version which doesn't detect it properly
>>106566179browser is a sandbox so the teams as a jeetware makes you idle when you are not actively using it -- the browser and the tab with teams itself.
>>106561538Just work? Shitposting is your work, right?
>>106561538just use caffeine
>>106561538There are hardware jigglers. All previous suggestions assume you're not on a corporate locked-down system.
>>106561538You let them monitor you.I leave the thing running all the time idle and do work on another desktop while making sure there is lots of work evidence.- changed files- emails responded to- chatters told to fuck offNow if it’s idle I just tell them it’s their problem.I mean, it always was their problem, but at least they come to their own understanding that it is.
>>106563970>If you have a calendar entry it appears as red even if you dont move for hoursI'd have never guessed since i cant see my own status without looking at teams. I noticed it stays red when im in a meeting im not paying attention to and dont use my computer. I should try this, having a blank calendar entry. I already changed my screen timeout and screen lock settings so i can see when I go from green to yellow so it would be easy to notice a difference.
>>106570257Please let me know who your employer and your TL are so I can report your behavior through the appropriate channels.
>>106570242>do work on another desktop while making sure there is lots of work evidenceim definitely guilty of thisi have a network share for work and my personal computer has a 3090 gpu which just eats vram for big models. I can connect my work computer to my personal computer for ollama but only when im not on VPN and my company uses like, half a dozen different vpn clients because the company's clients all have different environments, its annoying as fuck
>>106561538My job doesn't even look at teams status since its always wrong >coworker working their ass off while I sit on my phone and do jack shit >look over at teams >coworker marked as away while I'm marked as online I seriously don't understand how companies rely on this to determine if you're actually working
>>106570264>Please let me know who your employer and your TL are so I can report your behavior through the appropriate channels.report me for what, changing my power settings? If my employer was high speed low drag they'd make it a domain enforced group policy
>>106570281I'll report you for intent to commit time theft
>>106570291>time theftexcept im on a yearly salary, not the clockand as i mentioned (here >>106570272) i use my personal computer for work stuff so of course my work computer is going to go idle.
