getting rid of flash/scaleform was a mistake.shit was retarded easy to make scalable simple and complex UIs that didn't tank performance
>>106566721Nah the mistake was letting people sell and develop products that they barely (at best) understand themselves.
lol whatare they using the CPU to render graphics UIlollmao even why would you do that
>ask gpt why they did this>it responds "it's easier for the devs"LMAO
>>106566654*The absolute state of gamers
>>106566761>why would you do thatBecause GPU graphics programming is cancer.
>>106566721> he really has no idea what he's rambling on aboutfucking morons such as yourself should be banned from computers and the internet.
>>106566752its a good product, sorry it doesn't match your retarded standard
>>106566812>its a good product>as the developer makes a post about how performance is tanking because they used shitware as a platformgenius level iq
>>106566721Flash was a ln insecure, bloated piece of garbage that made the web more and more unusablenwith each update. But of course you are a zoomer faggot who wouldn't even remember.
>>106566809>>106566855niggers do you even know what scaleform is
>>106566761because they're amateurs and extremely lazy. now they have to face the problems of dealing with a garbage sdk for UI shit. it was originally called " Awesomium" but is now known as "ultralight". i assume they dropped the original name because it was not even in the same reality as the word awesome. $5000 a year to use the sdk. lol.
literally nobody says anything about performance of this game. it lists 2gb of ram as recommendedsomebody must have been playing on a literal toaster to make a compliant about performance
>>106566654
>>106566881well aware of it. it was fucking trash. the ONLY people wanting to bring back this fucking cancer are those that know nothing about computers and would probably electrocute themselves operating a toaster.
>>106566893>literally nobody>except the developeranon has an iq that's equivalent to the temperature of ice.. in Celsius.
>>106566784filtered by command buffers>>106566779ai in this case is probably right>>106566893tend to agree with this anon, the game specs are basic af most computers could render this in software easily. Can it be optimized? Yes. Should they waste dev time on this so that 1 person on a intel atom from 2008 can get 30fps? No
>>106566654Awesomium was trendy over 15 years ago when flash was still relevant
>>106566941i looked up the reviewsdev is probably just responding to some 3rd worlder from haiti that assembled his pc from ship wrecks
>>106566916>and would probably electrocute themselves operating a toaster. They wouldn't because toasters (like everything else) is built around the dumbest possible nigger being to operate it without disembowelling themselves on any sharp edges.
>>106566916How dare you insult toaster technology?
>>106566957>filteredNever seen anyone use this unironically who wasn't a sub-90-IQ brownoid
>>106566835niche issue, sorry, bb is running finedon't talk to me if you didn't run on your own compiler
>>106566654>>106566761This is what happened when UI started to be made by UI "programmers" (aka web devs) instead of game developers. I remember when steam switched to web based UI and my fps dropped from 144 (fps limit in the old ui) to 2. Yes, literally 2 fps. The reason steamvr lags so much on linux as well is because the driver has a fucking built-in web process, for the UI.
