Why would want to spend more then this?
>>106568620I've spent less as a matter of fact
>>106568620i'd get the a16 because longer updoots
>>106568714>IPS LCD Lmoaaa
>>106568714Motorola really has some good cheapo phones with nice battery life.
>>106571621The edge+ has been dank

>>106568620Why would you want to spend that much lmao?
>>106572382How much is too much on a phone. Expecting a pragmatic response.
I spent 800 bucks on a iphone to scroll 4chuds, listen to music and watch a bit of youtube videos when I'm at work and I don't regret it
>>106568620Kek. Don't you have used phones at the same price there and spare yourself from misery?
>>106568620DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG! Trust me, you'll regret. I bought A16 recently to replace my broken Moto g84 and it's a turbo shit. Worst phone I ever had, no surprise they call them Scamsung.
>>106572461Depends on your usecase and what aspects/functionality you value
>>106572461Price estimates don't hold up over time. So you should instead target the minimum specs that allow you to do everything basic-to-intermediate.Even low-tier screens are usable, so that's not a useful metric.Newer processors are fast enough; buy something that's six years old or newer.4GB of RAM is plenty.32GB of internal storage is plenty.Figure out whether you need a headphone jack. You can decide how much battery you need; 3500mAh is a good starting point. With this minima you'll get a phone that does things at the speed most other $1000 phones do. Don't expect to play gaymes on it, though. If you're a basedboy who plays genshin or whatever the fuck buy a $1500 phone
>>106568620You'll be amazed at how annoyed you will be about the insane lag in the Android OS due to the underpowered chip in that thing.
>>106568620>>106572488I have one and it's pretty good.
>>106572507Oh, and try to not buy a cheap phone second-hand.>>106572510Not true. I use Android 15 on my Moto G7 and it flies. Fast as fuck. Paid like ~$80 for it in 2019.
>>106568620>dies after 2 years
>>106572507>32GB of internal storage is plenty.it's not it's like installing 3-5 apps and you get no free storage left
>>106568714unfortunately their low end phones only get 1 year of support. samsung supports their low end phones for like 5 years.
that's what Im saying for years, I only use it to play Spotify and browse Twitter, I post on 4chan from pc. I would feel like an idiot for spending more than $200 on a phone. I doubt people do more than that with their phones
>>106572541Are you fucking retarded? Name these "apps" that take up 6-8 gigs of storage. It's probably some video games or porn or something.
>>106572558the OS takes about 15GB, preinstalled bloatware auto-updates and eats more storage (google, chrome, youtube etc about 1GB per app), average 3rd party app now needs 1GB+ of storage
>>106572624>muh bloatwareuninstall that shit>average third partyname a few retardProtip: They don't existAnd get a fucking SD card for your personal files.
>>106572641>They don't existbanking apps, message apps, trade apps
>>106572650I literally don't believe you. There's no reason any of those should take over a gig. And even if it does, you've got like 20 gigs. And it's a cheapo phone, if it's a fucking dealbreaker, pay $20 for double the storage.
>>106572488All the Samsungs I've interacted with had noticeable lag.
The series is a good option but the A15 is three years old which means it is out of software updates, although samsung might have extended security updates. The current entry is the A17 which came out last month and will get 7 years of updates. Sadly the a15 is the last one with a headphone jack.
>>106572470Does webm work on iPhone yet?

>>106571850>Human eyes can’t detect itso it's perfect then?
>>106572546"support" just means it forces a UI update that runs even worse every time
Did the mistake once bout an A33, good phone no lineageOS support. Buying a Pixel and install GrapheneOS
>>106572485>buying other peoples trash
>>106568620I got a used iPhone SE 2022 for $150, it still blasts through all software, gachas and car navigation, is very compact and is even capable of generating SDXL goonslop directly on the phone with airplane mode on (768x768 or 960x640 max).

>>106568620You wouldn't, that's the point and why these budget options exist and are so successful... you could spend even less though, with this (>>106568714) or Samsung's A00 lineup instead of the A10 lineup.
>>106568620Samsung galaxy phones are great. They keep getting updates for a long time and the display is great as well. I paid a similar price a few years ago for one and it was amoled 90hz
>>106572510I have a Galaxy A15 and it isn't laggy.
>>106572485How do you buy used phones without getting scammed?
>>106579132Buy in person
>>106579157Right, but I still hear stories of people getting swindled. Phones that are reported stolen and stop working, phones that are actually Chinese knockoffs that barely work, etc.
>>106568620Yeah I have no idea why people get so utterly psychotic about phones on here, cheap smartphones can do more than cheap laptops now by a crazy margin.
