Can we get a QRD on the history of AMD GPUs and why they're always worse than NVIDIA GPUs?

>>106570269I had no problems with AMD drivers. And I use them since ATI days. Maybe during ATI days they were kinda bad but everything was bad back then. Windows 98 and XP was crashing often. It became good with SP2 or SP3. Since Windows 7 crashes are rare. I had few crashes on Windows 10 though, but they were caused by windows updates.

NVIDIA has more than half their staff as software devs. AMD didn't put in that investment so NVIDIA was able to effectively get a monopoly with CUDA.

NVIDIA is a hardware company that has a stranglehold on enterprise GPUs. To avoid anti monopoly laws they use AMD to make fake worse cards and keep some semblance of competition alive.This is why I laugh at people who buy AMD GPUs. You're literally buying the fake product that keeps the real product alive
