What brings you to /g/? I'm currently working on a UPS and PDU combo to keep bare minimal networking equipment running during outages whilst also being able to power cycle things on failure

Thankfully i was born gay and whilst getting bussy is easy, im picky and the guys i like are picky too and functioning autism is a positive trait to them

I'm trying man. I really hate every time I have to touch nginx configs though.

I recently deployed at work a 5kva 208v ups, a mid tier pdu, and a 51.2v 5kw lithium 3u rack mount battery bodged into the ups.
Totally unsupported but works fine, I planned it out because the site can't reasonably have a backup generator, so the 5kwh of storage on tap should run the current load for like 8 hours or something stupid

Bro I have a fucking tower.
I have a mountain top tower and it handles radio communications between my datacenter and my house. My personal network spans 34km of distance on earth.
It feeds off someone else's network for Internet and all my traffic gets routed out to two vpn endpoints on cheap vpss. Two for redundancy.
I have a server racked at the DC and the tower itself has 5g failover should the link to the dc go down. Though I haven't connected that yet, routing for it is very jank.

Fuck I have spent thousands of dollars on this shit in the past year

What do you use? I just only expose stuff that needs to be exposed and has 2FA support. Rest I access through wireguard, but for some dumbass reason wireguard is very unstable for me.

I changed the code to a 24/7 livestream before leaving to visit family for a long weekend without testing it and it bricked the stream when it restarted. I was able to fix it remotely. The stream wasnt hosted on my jumpbox

One of my jobs we had a generator that we tested monthly that could power out server room for a week without getting a fuel refill. It switched on automatically on power loss
