Who's the wise guy that decided to put blue lights all over my electronics?
>>
Me.

Me. I'm a pretty wise guy.
>>
>>106571831
I hate that shit. It always fucks with night sight.
>>
>>106571831
sorry, it was pretty cool in the 90s and we just kinda kept doing it
>>

>90s
I don't remember any of blue lights in the 90s. It was EE coded with green, red, and sometimes, yellow then. It's possible. Just sayin I don't remember any of the cringe blue coloring until recently.

I took a guess at it, the 90s - 00's are a bit of a blur. but I'm pretty sure it's been around for a while? Maybe?
>>
Mid 90's, 3 japs developed the blue led. It was cool at first, but nobody thought about how it messes with our biological clocks.
It's still cool to mix it with other colors and get white led light but some retards still think it's cool to put those colors in everyday electronic equipment.
I've got a microwave with a 7 segment display so bright I can navigate in my kitchen and diner without any other light. If I knew this in advance I would have bought a different one. I can't just cover them up with tape cause I need to see the times.

Step outside for 5 minutes during the day and you have more blue light in your eyes than you will from electronics all day.
Just stop staring at your phone in the dark without night shift on.
Muh blue light is a meme. Just don't be a retard and it is fine. Also touch grass.

it was me. i have a patent on the colour blue, you see.
>>

There were no blue LEDs in the 90s. VFDs were kind of blue though.

Zoomer brainrot, and the fact that you still bought them means you didn't escape it either.
>>
>>106571831
There are electronics without them and I always go for these, clean and comfortable, those lights suck.
>>
>>106571831

I'm sorry.

The ones with the lights always seems to be cheaper. Chink shit is notorious for this.
>>

You can put a tiny blob of adhesive putty such as blue tack over LEDs to easily and reversibly dim them while still being able to see if they are lit.

Blue LED's were invented in 1993 but I don't think consumer electronics started using them for status indicators until the late 00's since red and green LED's are just as good if not better and much cheaper.

I distinctly remember LED bicycle lights never being white until well into the 00's.
They were usually yellow and sometimes a blue-ish green, they looked terrible.

They never tell you in advance what color the LED's are.
For example when I bought by electric toothbrush nowhere did it say "Oh btw the charge indicator is flashing blue and bright enough to lit up your entire bedroom"

I just put black Ducktape over all my LED's so not a huge problem but it would be nice if they stopped it.

i hope you are, you n'wah

4 things I never buy:

. Anything with a camera
. Anything with a microphone
. Anything with internet access
. Anything with useless LED's

>Anything with useless LED's
So nothing with a rechargeable battery?
What did you use to post that? I'm curious.
>>
>>106571831
I swear with red ones in the dark, you can see microscopic stuff on your eyes by starting into it. IDK what it is, but it looks like cells under a microscope.
>>
>>106578781
Yes. I use old tech until it wears out and then replace it with more old tech in better shape. Posting from Galaxy J7 (heavily modified both at hardware and software level for privacy reasons, though)

Lights and electronics is f****** gay and I literally turn it off every single possible time I can
