Add in another 4Gb for background tasks and lite multi tasking with web browser open. 16Gb is what basic usage requires these days. That is the bare minimum for a fully functioning computer to run without bottle necking into vram.

I remember back in the time when I upgraded from AMD-FX/DDR3 config, i decided to stick with Ryzen Zen+, and 2x8 3ghz DDR4 rams, this was back in 2018. Around 2023-2024 I felt like that playing my fav game + Discord + basic programs like using FireFox or Chrome is going to fill my RAM, so i bought another 2x8. On Winjew 11, it is basically even worse, you could not even game + run other bit more demanding task that is more complicated than a calculator. Programs became more demanding, they are still slower or not even improved compared to the highewr requeriments that its needs.
