This is the comfiest image I have seen in years. I can just feel the calm overwhelm me.

Single computers are fine too, but better if there's a room full of computers, nice dark rooms.

Imagine being in a cool office building you can hang out in after hours and on the weekend with your friends on their fast T1 line playing games and downloading stuff.

A screaming 1.544mbit.

No people in bed! Try to avoid people if possible.

This is more about a comfy but somehow liminal space.

>>106591749
This one is somehow OK despite having a person.

It would be a nice autismo project to track down the website being displayed on the bottom right monitor.

Notice "Problem Log" is its own binder and let the panic overwhelm you.

>f-society poster

This image is no older than 2015, when Mr. Robot premiered. Perhaps newer than that because I'm not sure if the f-society logo was in the show in season 1

I'd love to throw a LAN-party with old computers like these... We'd all be playing old games, eating nostalgic snacks and we'd just chat during the hour long loading screens... It'd be super chill...
And once everyone goes home, it'll feel extra quiet... It'll just be me and my dakimakura gf, cuddling in a blanket fort under one of those tables before we go to sleep... Maybe I'd put on something romantic and soothing, like the Windows 95 Startup Sound slowed by 4000%...
We'd rest so deeply, together with all of the computers...

Yeah, I know... I don't have friends who'd come to a LAN-party anyway. Well, maybe one friend...

I used to work at a place in the late 90s that was just a room full of computers like this, and the bosses weren't there at night.

Saturday nights we would get drunk and smoke pot on the roof. There would only be like 2 people working the night shift and like 20 unused computers. Then just play whatever on the PCs since back then there wasn't much of a need for crazy GPUs etc.

There were lots of games that supported LAN play but not internet play back then as well.

That sounds like a magical time in a late-night paradise, thank you for sharing this memory.
>>

Actually it was better than in that picture because there were privacy guards between each computer so you got like your own little space. It was mainly to block voices I think so that customers couldn't hear tons of people talking at once.

We had a "fast" dual channel ISDN line (128kbit) that was later upgraded to a T1 line.

I ended up getting fired (long story), then went on to work for one of the local ISPs but it wasn't quite as fun other than having root on all of their servers.

Have that exact monitor. Pretty good.
