If you're from NA your best bet is to start studying another language, try something European or asian, there is a growing demand for IT workers. Even if the market is slower than it was before there's still a great deal of demand for tech workers. But most places need people that can speak the local language, only the bigger international companies will take in people on English skills alone and then you're competing with all the saars.

Being employed sucks. I have like 7 monitors and 4 computers at werk. I have to do all the IT stuff for the entire site, all the PLC programming and DCS stuff while managing two networks so I have a on office machine, a process machine with win 7, process laptop and a new process machine running windows 10. The process network alone is like 50 PLCs with hundreds of remote racks and switches. The worst part is the 40 computer illiterate office wagies and all their problems. It's hell on earth. Also we migrated domains and now the new crapware if filling the drives of basically every domain PC in the plant to the point that will become no longer useable. Also, I don't and won't have an admin account on this new domain so I can't even clear the windows temp folder or install a printer without having to reaching out to corporate IT and pray for a response.
