So is AI a bubble or not?
>>106625473Yes, but if I turn out to be wrong then no.
>>106625473Yes. Go back to sleep and don't attempt to compete with me
>>106625473AI = satan
>>106625473Call me back when "AI" can solve basic programming problems and then I'll consider this question. In the meanwhile it's not /g/-related.
it's the new youtube meta, therefore /g/ must claim it's not
>>106625473yes
LLM AI is a bubble
>>106625473Yes but it will burst whenever it won't delete human jobs.If a general purpose robot à la Detroit become human is created in time then it will never pop.If not it will pop and many executive heads will roll, both figuratively and literally.
>>106625473Al is a Bundy
>>106625473Yes, there's no return on investment, it's just hot money chasing any hope possible. But the market can stay longer irrational than you can stay liquid.
>>106625473I think it will not pop, deflate yesBut ultimately the decline will likely also be an overreaction to but eventually the magnitude of the oscillations will decrease and other memes will become the "growth driver"
Yes and no. AI is here to stay and it's not going away. However, the AI companies of today might not exist in 10 years. It's just like the internet. The dot com bubble was real, but it doesn't mean the internet went away. We're on it now.

>>106628136?
>>106625473It is, but it's also the present and future. It's both.
>>106625473if you're not joogle
>>106625473100% a bubble. We have a shitload of people putting a shitload of money into ai. A lot of those people and a lot of that money is gonna go poof like a fart in the wind while a select few will run away with the riches.
>>106625517Satan is the good guy btw
>>106625473Both, it's long term tech probably here to stay but right now it's in a massive bubble because 99% of investors don't understand it and just listen to sales pitches from other people who also don't understand it.
>>106625473Yes, just like the internet was.It will pop, and then you will need to actually do something useful with it to gain money (for the most part).
>>106625473I saw an ad today (IRL) for a fucking cellphone plan that includes a free subscription to ChatGPT Plus. It's about to pop, yes.
