you can pay a local theater kid (who isn't attractive enough) to do the work. and buy a 'face' license or create your own. anyone who doesn't think this isn't the future is dreaming. motion capture has been a thing for awhile, and is going to become even easier

Vidya and movie animation studios have very iconic characters and in 99% of cases is no celebrity to praise. Actors and actresses' fame is directly tied to the success of the movie. A fictional character does not ask for a paycheck and is literally owned by the production company.

All my this and a 1997 George Lucas Rolling Stone article where he said in the near future you'll only need an actor's image, the rest will be handled by Super Computers.
They had the means, the hardware, but the how came about almost 30 years later. He shot the prequels with the idea that soon he'd be able to alter everything he had filmed. Poor Guy is literally too naive for this world.
>>
>>106638237

you guys don’t understand how this works. it was never about the technology. show business is just another extension of business, and stars are another extension of power, it was never about the technology and probably never will be. this will not kill hollywood, it will only make it easier for hollywood to keep doing what it has been doing up until now giving them cheaper and faster ways to keep their sacred cows alive forever. they are already working on laws against likeness theft with harsh punishments akin to dmca but way worse. they are also going to contact nvidia about a potential safeguard checking for a set of encrypted protected faces when generating images or text, which will be rolled as a protection tool for th customers to avoid generating potentially misleading content. soon the only gpus capable of generating uncensored content are going to be the owns already on the market, which are going to die in less than 5 years due to their suboptimal die. nothing ever happens. everything else will use a clip-like model on output to censor what is not appropriate. china is on this too: they more than the us need control over propaganda and need real stars to shift people around according to party lines.

t. editor in the industry for a decade, helped my boss label faces for this database proposal last week

the idea is to keep a level of cultural stagnation with some faces becoming part of the permanent zeitgeist, think ryan gosling.
>>
>>106639776
This is where I'm saying >>106639476, computers genuinely can't into that level of creativity shit. An 'idea' (and fill in the gaps) is not and never gonna work. Like I read a LOT of AI prompts, because reasons. And whatever cokehead keeps repeatedly requesting ideas for late-night sketch scripts, please, kindly fucking quit and kys already. But no matter how good the prompt - and I've genuinely read some great fucking prompts - AI is not good at creative, nor even filling in the gaps. And while I accept it def will get better at realistically depicting actors etc, 'creative' is a vacuum I can't see it filling anytime soon. At best, formulaic capeshit, maybe.
>>
>>106639926
It doesn't have to be creative. Every show out there is just the regurgitated rests of previous shows. AI doesn't need to be creative, it just needs to have some output.
>>
>>106639476
Unnamed faces without authorized access will use your characters to develop IP.

That's not how pornography works. Someone who watches porn daily is not gonna get it out of their system. The person who consumes porn daily will always have porn and sex on their mind. The type and intensity of the porn they watch will get more degenerate as they continue to consume porn. Discontinuing porn use results in less degenerate and inappropriate thoughts about sex.

What the fuck does that have to do with anything? These Indian animals are just barking buzzwords at the /pol/troons begging for their support or something. That completely fucked up the lighting and looks uncanny as shit, by the way.

Because just producing these short clips uses enough water for a small american town for a year.
This garbage is an obscenely expensive solution in desperate need for a problem to solve.

You can't fix that trash with AI.

And vaxxers and fans of the 49ers and whatever the fuck else imaginary enemy they fed you this week, you coercible fat shit.

nice try. Technically it would have been more accurate for me to say jewish OR trans. The exaggeration is part of the joke. There really are a lot of jews and trans in hollywood though.

I watch lots of porn daily (non pedo) as a 28 yo virgin. so what's your point again? shouldn't I be raping women left and right?
>>
>>106642381
>goyim, the more porn you consume the more degenerate you get! we have studies to prove it

so... according to you... logically, every gooner goes through a child porn phase then moves onto other, more decedant genres? What exactly is the tier list here? whats rock bottom?

1. straight sex
2. blow jobs
3. anal sex
4. lolis
5. trannies
6. beastiality
7. scat
8. snuff
9. gay sex with hats
10. ?????

Technological accelerationism is a good thing. Once the internet is riddled with AI slop everywhere and nothing can be trusted, we can collectively abandon it and go back to living our lives like in the 1960s, which was peak humanity, except with AI waifus and robot servants.

As Hegel said: Negative Unendlichkeit. There is no bottom.

I wonder how many people are laughing at this post in an unironic sense.
I also wonder if when movies shifted away from traditional effects towards CGI if the people working in the trad field also said
>you can tell its CGI though
and honestly thought that the statement had any substance to it.
Also, I would bet a lot of money that someone could make this same post, but put non-AI in the 'Generated' section and the same post and complaints would be made.

That movie failed because it's story is simultaneously written from a shinto perspective but for a westoid audience. However, westoids don't know dick about kami and don't think of spirits that way so it was all just weird and confusing for westoids. The Final Fantasy games made by the same dude (e.g., FFVII, FFX) are also written from a shinto perspective but westoids misunderstood a lot of the fundamentals of the world building related to Shinto (e.g., mako in FFVII and pyreflies in FFX) and basically understand it through some fucked up headcanon -- so many westoid reviewers were like "this is nothing like Final Fantasy, it has never had anything like 'spirits'".

I never played the games but thought the movie was kino when i watched it years ago. I could never understand why people hated it.
Why would they expect the studio to do just a 1:1 transfer of a game to the movie? Nigger, the game already exists if you want that story play the game.

it was the right hand for me, the stuttering is very unhuman

>you can tell its AI though
how does this change your ability to enjoy it? i don't care if what i watch is made by AI or not, i only care if it's good and free of niggers and troons

The closest things were probably Blender Studio's animated shorts which let you download the production materials and asset files but they're behind paywall now.
