Linux is much easier to install than Windows.
Nobody installs Windows. Its already there.
>>106637749true, windows installer is horrible
>>106637749Trying to bugfix Windows is also a total fucking nightmare. If you manage to make your system unbootable you need to do the whole Windows Recovery Disc bullshit whereas you can easily just boot any live USB to fix your fucked up Linux system.
What's hard about windows? You etc the usb stick, unplug the ethernet cable, say "no" to all the options.
>>106637749I disagree. Two years ago, the first time I installed Linux (Mint) it needed me to create a partition by myself, but the way it displayed partitions was a mess to begin with. Then it still didn't work. I found out on some forum that I needed to create two partitions for it, not one...
>>106637749Linux is a kernel.......
>>106637889>Having to cut internet to not forcibly be plugged into the corporate JewTherein lies the biggest problem.
>>106637889Last windows I installed (not on a computer of mine, obviously), I had to spend half an hour trying to find the latest version of the command that lets you perform the installation without an internet connection.
>>106637889its only easy to "etc the usb stick" from an already installed windows. there is a lot of conflicting and wrong information about how to do it from linux so be careful before you post the google results your about to get.
>>106637749a lot of newer computers have locked bootloaders nowadays. plus, linux is hard if you need GUIs as a creative, most FOSS slop is made for windows. T. filtered by the terminal
>>106638736>noooo you can't install it, akshually it's a kernel
>>106637749not at such but after clean win install you must install manufacturer customerware and spyware and that is tiresome
