Im probably thinking of something completely different, but i have a bunch of those Amazon flash drives 256GBs and suddenly none of them worked anymore. I have redundant backups so I didnt technically lose anything but I could have. And it was very odd how they all suddenly were unrecoverable at the same time despite buying them at different times.

I can't say that I've had any SSD issues, but FitGirl repacks do put a strain on your hardware, whatever they're doing. I haven't looked into the details, but it felt that the CPU was struggling far more than with any regular installer. Honestly, if you've got a good Internet connection, you should probably avoid them altogether if you've got other options.
