Anyone have recommendations on case+MOBO combos for dual GPUS?
I have a 7900 XTX, and am looking to upgrade the rest of my system to AM5 and a case with good airflow. In the future, I might get a second 7900 XTX or other GPU for larger AI workloads (inb4 "AMD can't do AI" FUD, I have had no issue running LLMs or large image models like Qwen or Chroma).

BUT I have found little good info about MOBO and case compatibility for this kind of build. Is there a good mid tower for dual GPUs? What AM5 boards are a decent price for this purpose?

Why do people keep pushing this 5000 super rumor? They aren't happening, this generation was a complete bust there's no reason to paint a pig. They are fast tracking the 6000 series which is the smart thing to do.

Does modern Cyberpunk run worse than the launch version? I assumed it got significant performance uplift updates over the years.
At launch I played it just fine on a 1660S and a friend beat it on a mobile 1650. Those were the kinds of GPUs it targeted for low-medium 1080p60, and modern GPUs are many times more powerful.

Any reason I shouldn't buy this monitor? It's ancient, so I could probably talk the seller down quite a bit, but I'm worried about defects I may not notice immediately. She claims it's in excellent condition, doesn't list any problems.

I'm already running a 2560x1440 Korean monitor from over a decade ago, which has a flickering backlight if I put the brightness too low. I'd honestly keep using it if I wasn't limited by it only supporting DVI-D, meaning I'm stuck trying to find a not-shit active adapter or using decade-old graphics cards.

While some SDR content can have ugly blowouts and highlight clipping, pretty much every game and movie uses some kind of filmic tone mapping, which compresses highlights into SDR range far more gracefully. I have a 1440p 144hz monitor and want to get as much use from it as I can and I'd like some extra vram for AI which is why I couldn't decide between 4060/5060 TI 16 gb models and their 70 series counterparts which only have 12 gb. Seeing the 5070 TI at "just" 1000 euros now and the fact I don't plan to upgrade for a long time, in my case it might make a good choice.

Well, "depends" in the context of how SDR chooses to clamp HDR data. Some media just uses naive, primitive linear tonemapping which blows the fuck out of highlights, while most modern media uses filmic tonemapping, which is far more graceful than barbaric linear tonemapping. Both of them are a compromise compared to HDR, though.
Otherwise, you're basically right. HDR was made for bright elements and offers more headroom for displaying them.
