Is this a good mouse to buy? It's a deathadder v3 hyperspeed or should I just go logitech
>>
>>106674425
No, mine broke in less than a year (at least it was on warranty).
If you are at the point of asking questions like this, rather than just going to a store and buying the one that looks coolest, then buy an actual boutique mouse after a week of research.
And, unironically, read reddit threads rather than asking here.
>>
>>106674457
Yours stopped working in a year? Wtf
>>
>>106674425
scroll wheel lasted 4 months
>>
>>106674493
Yes.
And while the mouse and software works without a Razer account, their support refused to process a warranty claim without an account, until I threatened to make a complaint to a consumer protection agency for "fine print" (their warranty legal language makes no mention of requiring a Razer account, but a Razer account has its own body of legal language, making it hidden contract language).
>>
>>106674425
Had like 3 Razer mice and they all broke easily and I wasnt even't playing sweat, got a used Logi G600 and hasn't even failed for the last 5 years.
>>
>>106674493
I had two Razer and both had turbo right clicking after 6 to 7 months, unlucky. never bought Razer again since then.
>>106674425
I got the Logitech G309 and am very happy with it
>>
three logitech g pro's started double clicking in the first year, the g pro superlight I got as a replacement died a literal fucking week after warranty ran out
been using a razer viper v2 pro since then and it hasn't had a single issue

Using a weight modded Razer Basilisk V3 Pro right now. No problems.
Been using Razer mice next to other brands for over a decade now, Basilisk form and features being my favorite from it's birth, never had problems except with older and cheaper ones that would double click after heavy and extended use, which is not an issue with optical switches anymore and the wireless latency is nonexistent too.
>>
>>106674542
That's why I buy online 3rd party retail, got retailer's warranty, two years, don't have to deal with Razer directly.
>>
>>106674425
i wish there was a mouse with an all metal click path. every year or so my cheap mouse clicker wears out and i have to buy a new one. if it was all metal, instead of plastic, it would last for decades

nah that's dog shit, razer is a huge red flag.
this is the only real option, there's also a black one branded by dell although idk, good luck finding one.
>>
>>106675106
i have enough balls to clean (my own), tnx
>>
If you go logitech be prepared to replace the switches in ~6 months. I love my g604 but the logitech switches started double clicking within 5 months, after replacing I have never had the issue repeat.

I've also had a razer viper pro that has never had double clicking issues for what it's worth. I prefer it for shooters because it's much lighter

if you're scared to replace switches / disassemble stuff / solder then please get off this board and go back to /v/ with the other children
>>
>should I just go logitech
their scroll wheels last a month, two maybe
look for optical ones

>>106674744
>double clicking
literally a non issue unless you're too dumb to fix it yourself (no soldering required)

Bought mine over 2 years ago and still using it today, scroll wheel starting to act up sometimes though. Still pretty comfy mouse, I'll probably buy it again when it breaks.
>>
>>106675183
much better
>>
>>106675183
they did a fucky when they changed the scroll wheel. before it was smooth and nice and the texturized one just aint right if you know what i mean.
>>
>>106675177
What's the fix?
>>
>>106675212
you open up the mouse then use tweezers and stationery knife to open malfunctioning switches, carefully remove the copper thingie that does clicking, clean it up, straighten it a bit and put back in

2nd on jewtube if you look up "fix double click" shows the whole process
>>
>>106675279
Thought so, it's exactly the things I tried on two of them before RMAing because it didn't fix the issue at all, the third I just didn't bother with anymore
>>
Why not get a Pulsar?
>>
>>106675848
Idk, why?
>>
>>106675895
Its very functional and not gaymer coded. Plus its wireless. I have one at work and home.

No. Get Cobra Hyperspeed or DeathAdder v4. They have optical scroll wheels.

my razer viper (first version) also has scroll wheel problems, when will mice company fix this horrible issue

Thanks guys I have decided to get a chink ATK mouse instead after reading rddit and it seems pretty good they have logitech and razer clones
>>

>reddit
Reddit can't even count. You ask for details on available mice with six side buttons because you're looking to replace a mouse with six side buttons, and what do you get? Recommendations for mice with 3-5 side buttons. No "there aren't really any with six out there, but there are these", just straight up acting like 3, 4, or 5 are the same as 6.
>>
>>106675916
How much does it weight, how's the battery life?
Actually peaked my interest, I forgot they existed.
>>
>>106674425
Is there a mouse with more than 2 macro buttons (preferably 6), horizontal + floating scrolling, wireless, and decently ergonomic? I have a G604 that I like but its double clicking and I cant find an equivalent mouse
>just fix the switch
I did a few months ago but its double clicking again. I dont know if it was a bad switch but it was annoying to disassemble and replace the switch and I dont want to keep having to do it every 6 months

Brands to buy:
Zowie
Vaxee
ATK/VXE
MChose

Brands to avoid:
Logitech
Razer
Glorious
Steelseries
Finalmouse

Brands that can be good depending on QC lottery:
Endgame Gear
Pulsar

Razer fucking sucks, the ONLY thing they have is 8k polling rate, which kicks your computer in the liver. Synapse is hot dogshit too.
Get a wired 502x and be done with it.

yes, that being on the bottom of the mouse where no one can see it is somehow more >gay than this abomination with trans flag color rgb

It's just an RGB strip, the colors chosen in marketing mean nothing, tard.

scroll wheel lasted for about a year, used the warranty and for now it hasn't broke after about half a year.
Dunno which mouse to buy after this one dies on me again...

Chinese, ew
>>
>>106677265
it's all chinese these days
only difference is QC
>>
>>106677676
exactly, giving logitech 2-3x the cost of equally good mice just to have their logo on the mouse when they are still made in china is peak retard

the only reason to go with logitech is because their battery life is still the best in the business. their qc is horrible especially with scroll wheels.
>>
>>106674425
>razet
kek no
they use the cheapest switches
>>
>>106678147
They use in-house optical switches. This isn't 2008 anymore.
>>
I have a v2. buttons on the side got loose after 2 years but overall I really like the mouse. I think even though razer is a gamer meme brand their mouses are just good. I will buy razer again when this one dies.
>>
>>106674425
I've gone through 3 Deathadder 2013's that Walmart was selling. They eventually gain a double-click issue, otherwise the size and button placement was fine.

But I want a mouse to last longer than 3 years.

There are very few mice made outside of China and most people aren't going to stomach the cost of even want them in the first place
>>
>>106674425
Buy a Mchose instead. Chinese are making the same mouth for 2 to 5 times less dollars.
>>
>>106674425
I purchased razor once. The mouse disconnected constantly, even when it was directly connected to my computer. I smashed the thing on the floor, and never purchased another razer product since. It was a mamb.
>>
>>106678353
their flagships have toned down the gamer aesthetic and removed the unnecessary bloat like rgb

the problem is their budget friendly offerings sometimes don’t have the nicer features like optical switches or encoders

they’re better than logitech now but both companies are just so overpriced. no way is any mouse worth $160
>>
>>106682410
>no way is any mouse worth $160
You're a turbo NEET who spends 18 hours a day behind their PC doing various tasks from professional shitposting to gaming, it sure is. You get what you pay for.
>>
>>106674425
logitech g502 is reasonably cheap and has everything you'd want. good sensor, decent buttons, some extra buttons but not full retard amount of them, okay software (at least for winblows), good ergonomics
>>
>>106682410
how much does your mouse cost?
