what is the comfiest OS?
>>
come home chadman
>>
Comfiest for me was macos yosemite until big sur, now linux mint
>>
I'd say DE dictates comf more than the OS itself no? Unless the source does something very different from the others like, being source based (gentoo), reproducible (nixos), etc
>>
kill troonix fags

Windows XP and 7 were tied for comfiness. So the best way to get comf today is with xfce-winxp-tc or AeroThemePlasma.

No. Default config is extremely important.

q4os trinity xpq4 has a search bar on the start menu, whereas xfce-winxp-tc doesn't. No search bar is more accurate to XP, but also less featured.

is it true that linux mint still doesn't have a working image preview?

Obviously it's arch linux with xfce4
>>

XP, ironically, is far more usable than any Linux.

>Emacs/Guix is a lisp machine
Lisp machines were heavily object-oriented, image-based, used Common Lisp or Lisp Machine Lisp (LML being the main design influence of CL), and had floating style WM.
Smalltall VMs are way closer to being modern Lisp machines even if they aren't Lisp. Even fucking Windows is arguably closer to them.
