They really want you on Windows 11 lmao, what the fuck is this?
>>

>what the fuck is this?
your drive has errors, you need to reboot so it can run a filesystem check.
>>
>>106692842
Don't listen to this glowie
>>
>>106692824
I never let W do this because I've lost files with repair, with 75% certainty. Files transferred from older computers using W7/8,8.1 cause this error.
>>
>>106692824
it's over
>>
>>106692824
it's a trap.
If you restart you will never mount that disk again
>>
>>106692824
I noticed out of nowhere that Windows 10 has pretty much been crashing non-stop for myself and several others and it only started a couple weeks ago.
Probably just imagining things but from the amount of people I've heard I'm not so sure anymore.
not that it matters i use linux as my main os but its a little suspect that its been happening
>>
>>106692972
i can confirm the same thing. recently started getting random bsods on boot once in a while, like once a week/month, when booting win10. and these bsods are impossible to reproduce (subsequent boots don't have this issue). this doesn't happen on win11 or linux on the same hardware.
>>
>>106692972
My Windows 10 is running fine still, hopefully this doesn't start happening. I'll probably switch over to Linux next year when W10 ESU ends but I don't want to just yet
>>
No problems here on Windows 7.
>>
>>106692842
what the fuck did you do to cause these errors? did you manually modify some bytes in the hard drive? I've been using a computer for decades and I never got this. you need to be a apecial kind of autist to get this message
>>
>>106692824
Just install ltsc or linux distro of your choice.
>>
Windows Vista is running just fine
>>
>>106693264
power loss while writing or more likely hardware failure.
>>
>>106692824
Haven't had any problems on my Luma3DS configuration

How do you protect yourself from malware and security vulnerabilities with an outdated OS? Adblock/antivirus program?
>>
>>106694414
Keep them offline, use Linux for internet
>>
>>106693264
He probably set CrashOnCtrlScroll or terminated winlogon so he could bitch about Windows bluescreening.
He's so stupid and desperate to fit in with the Reddit crowd that he didn't think an uncontrolled shutdown was going to leave his Windows volume dirty.

Without linux
>>
>>106694414
Just don't store your bank details in a .txt on your desktop.
If you get malwared, reinstall and go again
>>
>>106693264
Could be a failing drive.
>>
>>106695049
2FA?

And doesn't the main threat comes from downloading stuff on shady websites without any software or programs to block malware?
>>
>>106695463
what is the "threat" exactly?
>>
>>106694414
>malware
User error

>security vulnerabilities
Firewall
>>
>>106695463
So know what you download instead of randomly clicking around on the internet.

>OP's computer is broke

kek fuck off.
>>
>>106695830
Just how your immune system was broke and needed proprietary executable binary blob that only worked if everyone collectively joined the botnet and by worked we mean it didnt loooooooooooooooooool
>>
>>106695954

>>
>>106695962
I'm sorry, I don't speak with cattle that isn't triple boosted, fuck off chud.

If it's an SSD, probably just some software errors due to power loss. If it's spinning rust, most likely it's faulty hardware.
>>
>>106694414
fuck off back to plebbit you actual mouthbreathing nigger
>>
Win11 is OK after you disable a bunch of stuff

Shit bait

>new OS BAD!

It's a question, I don't download anything

But incredibly accurate.
>>
>>106696788
lmao, this can't be real. surely that's the type of shit that would get anti-monopoly laws thrown at them?
>>
>>106697594
>correcting some fourth-party malware "browser" (read: firefox) trying to trash your registry

I hate to break it to you anon, but I'm afraid you have taken a massive, inoperable brain injury.

>something breaks
>waaah why is microsoft factory resetting this one piece so things work instead of staying broken waaaaah
I can't wait to see this thread receive convenient bumps just as it's about to slide off the catalog for being shit for the next week.
