I feel like I am capable of more than this and everything being a long chain of workarounds because we aren't allowed to use any real solutions is like running on a treadmill.Be honest with me, is this a "grass is greener" situation? Is it better to be a big fish in a small pond? Is torturing myself with Power Automate and Excel attachments the same torture as any other tech job? And most importantly, would any of this experience mean jack shit for a more complex data position? I know SQL and PowerBI. I feel like they would start me at square one if I went anywhere else.I'm just stuck at an awkward crossroads where the only place to go in my current industry is back into customer service via management.

It's even worse because they'll act like a nice person at the start of calls or in face meetings but will clearly get toxic fast as fuck. I can't even really say "anything" to HR because they're not doing anything bad but it makes me literally not what to respond to them at all but my boss is putting this on my plate to support them.
