Two days ago, I received a job offer for Java/Spring job, except that it is not in my country. Instead it is in Croatia. The problem? I live very far from there. Not sure where, but I know Croatia is in western Europe somewhere, while me, I am from the middle east,, Now, I wouldn't normaly entertain such idea, but, what needs to be known, is, that the pay is very very good, something 4x than here. So, I have fully and completely decided on moving there, I have my permits and everything in ordar, but I still nedd to know a couple of things:- Apartment prices/options?- What is food? I am probably used to different food than there.- Taxes? High/Low?- How is it with citizenships, hard or easy?Thank you, !
bro doesn't even know how to use periods and he got a java job lmao
>>106734630>- Apartment prices/options?varies wildly, major cities are insanely expensive (especially coastal ones) while the rural countryside is relatively cheap (especially in slavonia)>- What is food? I am probably used to different food than there.typical balkan cuisine, it's relatively close to turkish food>- Taxes? High/Low?quite high, at least compared to the rest of europe (excluding the nordics)>- How is it with citizenships, hard or easy?don't even attempt it tier
I smell something. For some reason, exactly 2 weeks ago i made this screenshot.

>>106734783it's a Serbian conspiracy, they are getting hired in human resources all over Croatia to bring millions of Middle Easterners and South Asians into the country, thus collapsing it from the inside. final revenge after Yugoslav wars
>>106734630what city? what is the pay? are you planing on staying, eventually moving somewhere else in europe or earning as much as possible then moving back to middle east?im assuming you are moving to zagreb. it is a top tier city, very safe, clean, lots of content, big enough to have everything you need, but not overcrowded. only con really is, it is expensive relative to average salary. you are an foreigner, you dont know local culture, or "real" prices of things and people will take you to cleaners. i lived in zagreb last year and i joined a lot of facebook groups to find an apartment to rent. i ended up with 40 m2, freshly redone one bedroom apartment on second story in new-ish building. rent was 500€/month. im still member of said groups and see absolute shitholes going for double that regularly. a couple of days ago i saw a french student living in zagreb looking for roomate in decades old apartment on ground level and total rent was like 900€ which is absolute insanity.if your salary is less than 3000€/month i wouldnt even bother moving desu. my biggest advice is, refuse to pay mora than 500€ for an appartment. lowball everyone. it will take a lot of time to find something decent so if you have to you can choose a more expensive appartment at first, but never stop looking and dont be afraid to move. 90% of landlords are living in fantasy land with asking prices and will settle for far less

And remember kids, when libertarians tell you that the market is always right, remind them that the market will hire a pajeet to do a worse job for a marginally smaller cost than to hire a local to do a proper job for a more fair price
>>106734630>4 times the salary in zagreb good morning saar, please do the needful and refuse, you will start feeling lonely very fast and regret your life choices when nobody cares to have a conversation with you after work
