Just found about WSL.. why would anyone use Linux when this exists? For privacy? Linux has FBI backdoors and the minute you even look up the term Linux and VPN you are flagged by Prism. This is the best of both worlds.

it's cool that windows users are getting a taste of linux, but i'm not sure i understand why being able to use linux means people shouldn't use linuxwsl2 is just a virtual machine, you've been able to run linux in a vm on windows for a long time. you can also run windows in a vm on linux. none of this is new
