What kind of usecases does GTK work for?
In what kind of usecases does GTK NOT work?
What is the REAL usecase for GTK?

it's for your own good,
users are dumb and don't know what they want

generally speaking people should discover for themselves why it's bad to do certain things imo

that said i understand not wanting to build your software around retards doing dumb shit, but even then i'd prefer if the poster actually reasons out why something is "bad" to want to do. literally like 90% of the people in any remotely nerdy hobby just parrot whatever they read somewhere else, or they just say something along the lines of "only x is good because i have personally only ever used x"

Why is AI seemingly unable to generate guns that point at the camera? Every AI vid with a gun I see the gun is always slightly to the side. Is it some (((safety))) bullshit?
>>
>change gtk code and ship your own copy
Why does he not propose that he implements rhe feature and does a merge request? Doesnt sound very open source

it's in redhat's interest to get a stranglehold on the linux ecosystem to maintain control over their enterprise/government contracts. there is no need to pontificate on what is good or not good for the user for a kernel that is used by tech savvy people or IT.
this is why insufferable people like ebussy exist at gnome because he gets it
