Prices for all of these start above 100 bucks, which is why you're better off trying a cheap chink one first to see if you even enjoy using a trackball.
i have a wireless nulea finger trackball. at first i thought i wanted a thumb ball, but decided against it in the end. its my first trackball and it does everything i want it to do. every button besides right click is in thumb area and its all intuitive. the scrollwheel is side mounted, but can be pressed down as well as in; well designed all around. cleaning is a non issue, because you can push the ball out, clean the beads and pop it back in within seconds.

Do not by Ploopy, If you want a trackball that is sensitive to any spec of dust to the point it will easily disable the sensor that also has nightmare tier bearing cleaning do not waste your time or money.I had to decommission that piece of shit after a month of that bullshit and having to clean the bearings, it's shill reddit garbage that only has the redeeming quality of using QMK, which can basically be done with any mouse with most software.
