No, I am on 24H2, I will upgrade later.

>The next version of Windows 11 is now generally available, and while it doesn't include any new features or changes, it does come with up to 36 months of additional support over version 24H2

Why bother? Either stay with Windows 10 LTSC or move to 24H2 LTSC

It's pretty good. Further, it's a good reminder on why you shouldn't base your life on a literal single Insider flight.

This removes the bloatware and makes it usable. It's still shit but if you need Windows it's the best option.

You can't count on stuff that goes to insider channels to make it to release. Remember how the entirety of Sun Valley was pulled so they could turn it into Windows 11?

I have Windows installed on a separate drive for any Jew or Chink software that won't work on Linux. I use GRUB as my boot manager.

>Stop using software that doesn't work on Linux!
Sometimes you have to face the real world. I don't depend on Microsoft for anything. I don't trust Microsoft with anything. I limit my contact to only that which can't be avoided. If you use Windows full time AND you complain about it, you are a retard. It's not going to get better. It's going to slowly fade into obscurity. Bite the bullet and switch now. Not a matter of if but when.

there aren't any. it's just an enablement package. so like how Windows 2004-22H2 did get a few updates but they didn't actually correspond to which SAC you were on, the all got them at the same time. All this update actually does is change the number in winver.

One of the primary complaints about XP on its release was that it required twice the RAM and four times the disk space of Windows 2000, but really didn't do anything that Win2k didn't.

the old content menu is small because the resolution is bigger compared to what you had in 1996 so it was updated to be as big as how the old context menu was back in 1996.

is that why they only made the context menu bigger and nothing else?

my enterprise is just now finalizing the upgrades to 23H2. not even fucking joking. Less than 2 weeks before the cutoff. We all thought the support team dedicated to this shit did extensive testing first. Turns out they didn't, because all of the issues began arising LAST MONTH as literally hundreds of techs began desperately rushing to upgrade thousands of computers.

I have no idea what the plan is with 24H2. no fucking idea. it hasn't even come up in conversation. No idea if any of the drivers for our devices is compatible with Memory Integrity or not. It's not like microsoft gives you any fucking tools to figure this shit out. The upgrades will just fail without explanation.

public sector fucking sucks

Why would they even care?

At this point, I’d trust a random hacked .iso over ms any day of the week.

Also, I have an unlicensed version. Seem to work fine after adding 2.0 ports, what do you get if you pay for it? I have an old copy of office so I don’t need that.
