how do you feel about the fact that no foss music player is as good as Apple's Music/iTunes?
lmfao what is this
How is this better than audacious? Cite examples.
>>106750779>Apple's Music/iTunesusecase when foobar2000 exists and works on linux?
lmao noand im using a mac, use anything elsei use qxplayer
>>106750897>lmfao what is thisThere is nothing wrong here.
>>106750897Maybe if your Parkinson's didn't flare up you could have kept your cursor on the volume.
>>106750970can you sync your library seamlessly across all your devices? didn't think so
>>106750779The are quite a bit of modern looking music players on Linux, the problem is that they are barebones with no editing built in.
>>106751021>winecope
>>106751548Use case? I only listen to music on my computer.
>>106751330>>106751453You shouldn't have to hover over a button, wait, and then make the cursor walk a tightrope over to the volume slider. It's a COMPUTER, there is space on the screen to have the slider without requiring a pointless gimmick to hide it.
>>106750779itunes is a fucking dog turd and it can barely support any format outside of like mp3. Foobar takes a big shit all over this jeetware.
>>106750779>how do you feel about the fact>proceeds to list a subjective opinion>is also a macfag
>>106751548you actually can host a server and do that, yeah.
What is that, some featureless Gnome music player? Disgusting.
>>106751698>make the cursor walk a tightrope over to the volume sliderjust move it to the left lmao
>>106751781>>>make the cursor walk a tightrope over to the volume slider>>just move it to the left lmao>Replying to a name fag
>>106751781It's a complex operation which requires more concentration than just clicking on a slider on-screen. Steve jobs would never have allowed this.
Now I have a theory why linux desktop is so bad. Autists don't have the theory of mind to imagine being another person using the system so are clueless about user-friendly design.
>>106750779What's good about it? I couldn't stand iTunes the lady time I used it. I would use alternatives even for managing an iPod.
>>106751886>you gotta heckin put yourself in the shoes of the 80 iq and make everything with them in mindI'm good, they can stick to mac/windows.
>>106751726what happens when you leave your house?
>>106752103you load up the server from your phone since it's always running
>>106752151what happens when you are offline?
>>106752170I can use my offline collection, I have plenty of storage and the foobar app on my iphone.
>>106752170You enjoy the silent tranquility of nature
>>106750779You own nothing unironically. Big cringe sweetie!
>>106750779FOSS or not, Musicbee dominates them all.
>>106750779>hurr i need to SEE my music
>>106752206wdym? I own it. It's all local
>no flac supportgay
for me its euphonica
>>106751652>copei accept your concession
>>106750897skill issue
>>106750779This problem is because everyone is waiting for Apple to implement a database "ontological" file system. Then everyone will copy them. Until then, metadata, folders, and file names will be all you have.I suspect Apple Music still sucks like itunes did for "composers" eg mozart/bach vs "artists" eg violinists/pianists plus of course orchestras. Plus sometimes the album has a name. not handled well AT ALL.
>>106750779wtf are you babbling on about lmfaonobody fucking uses itunes anymore.
>>106752362>euphonicaThanks for pointing me to this anon, I would have loved for it to have some spotify integration but this is perfect for my local collection.
