got some old evtran and jeyi m.2 enclosures and a local rebrand of chinese stick using direct uasp-to-flash controller.
never had any issues with either.
got rid of kingston though, the slider sucked.

I've been using one chinkshit drive as a scratchpad for transcoding terabytes worth of podcasts and torrents and it refuses to die, it has outlasted all other usbs and my wd black hdd by like 4 years now. It's completely random
