Why did they invent a new open RAM standard that'd be fast and free for everyone to use if nobody is ever going to use it and nobody wants to use it and nobody can buy a motherboard that uses or any modules of it?

I assume this might become the standard for the last motherboards that will support replaceable ram, because we are moving to putting ram inside the cpu.

Because I like my balls to be tickled.

the fact they're all different sizes seems like the perfect way for mobo makers to enforce more tiers by making sure you can't fit the biggest ones on cheaper boards

I think size is just something like m.2
And you will find them for all sizes but the problem is you might need to pay a premium for having a lot of GB of ram inside a small space.

what i'm saying since i'm super pessimistic of any oem nowadays is that if they wanted to they could make sure there's a component in the way in what would be empty space besides the screw holes on 16/32 but be in pcb on 64+
