lmao im so glad 10 IOT LTSC is good for a decade
>>106752838>unironically using KrashDE
>>106752820> Loading and unloading things into memory takes CPU power!?!?!? Just keep it in memory forever!> Why is my computer using so much memory!?!?! Just load shit only when you need to!Pick one
>>106752930>what is cachethese are the jeets in charge of windows development now
>>106752838PROOFS?!?!!!??????
>>106752820> he didn't know that the windows menu is a react app that runs in a browser
>>106752854it just werks>>106752957not gonna bother recording a gif lol
>>106752930It's only a few MB, remember that ram bandwidth is in GB/s, so the problem is that instead of just loading the start menu then showing it which should only take a few thousand cycles, it's delegating to multiple processes, synchronizing their data and so on which is causing threads to block and it's bogging down the CPU, it isn't actually doing any work, it's just horribly optimized.
>>106752930the entire menu should fit into fucking L3 with space to spare you dunce
>>106752820This is a fucking stupid way of illustrating the issue as it could be literally anything else causing the spikes.
>>106752948If you took that as me implying it was loading things from disk, then I apologize. I apparently set the bar far too low.I use Arch btw.
>>106753047You can just test it yourself lol
>there are butt hurt Pajeet freetards who have objectively shitty computers that have shitty Core 2 Duo CPUs!>and they blame the Windows 11 instead of their own shortcomings!Wow, I'm not even surprised!Come back when you actually upgrade to a Ryzen 7 9800X3D!I'm aware that it's obviously morning time in India!
>>106753116>sadface.jpgmfw only 7800x3d
>>106753116>needs a 9800X3D to open windows start menugrim self own
Yep, just tried it myself and the same thing happens. Obviously we like this and we're supposed to defend it.
>>106753166>>106753192Don't feed the troll
>>106753166That's still an objectively amazing CPU anyway!>>106753192>>106753201You pesky little freetards are supposed to be shitposting in THIS thread!>>106733274
>>106752930>spinning up a whole web browser engine every time you click something is ackshually totally normal
>>106752820Yeah it's a full program that shows a high quality graphic, do you expect it to not use the CPU or something? Fuck off nocoder. >>106752838>Using kde>not krashingISHYGDDT
>>106752820That's nothing. My fedora box can get higher numbers just idling.
