The Indian phones are dog shit quality but seems to be only sold domestically in India. The domestic Chinese models are lower quality than the global/EU models. The Poco F7 Pro would be my call, just never buy a Xiaomi phone at full price, they always have sales on and stacking discount codes. You can easily get 30-50% off MSRP if you wait a while. You will need to use ADB to remove a bunch of pre installed bloatware.

ive been using samsung s23 since it came out and im happy with it. today i used coworkers new iphone 17 for something and i was really impressed with it. display is head and sholders above mine, it feels so much smoother even tho both are 120hz and i always loved how ios animations are compared to androidi was under the impression that my s23 was still top tier phone and that flagships have kinda plateaued and that we are only getting small upgrades with every new iteration. obviously i was wrong. talk me out of upgrading to 17, i was happy with s23 and didnt even consider upgrading until i tried it and saw how much better it is.

Traded in my Pixel 7a for this Motorola and got it basically for free. I like it so far, 720p isn't amazing but battery life is fantastic as a result. Even after disabling the RAM boost bullshit 4GB is fine for stock Android desu. I've had it for a day now, charged it last night and now I have 75% battery at 3 PM. The Pixel barely made it to evening even when it was new, not sure why. Are Tensor chips really THAT bad/power hungry? This thing doesn't get warm at all either.
