>>106758854NTA, but do you really feel comfortable giving out your real name and ID to some website with the amount of leaks lately?
>>106758317You become a contractor and do stuff for other companies >>106759989That shouldn't be a problem if you directly work with the companies and aren't using some middle man platform. Tho that requires you to have a site with your face where you advertise yourself
>>106758317It used to be but now we can just get AI to do it for us. You might find some late adopter willing to pay you to be a codemonkey but the rates are still going to be lower due to the supply and demand balance getting thrown off by AI

>>106758317Yes>in cryptoFor the most part, no. There are a handful websites which specialize in job seeking for people who want to be paid in crypto, but almost nobody is looking to hire such workers.>>106759989Nobody is going to hire some anonymous person with questionable credentials. The only people who will hire you are those who will take your work and never pay you out.

>>106758317>As in you do some projects for some people and they pay you (in crypto)This is like the type of thing where 'if you have to ask...' in 2025...you're probably going to have some issues. Security is like the #1 priority in smart contract development, so having absolutely no idea of what even something like Solidity is in 2025 means I highly doubt you'd manage to out compete people who have been doing this stuff for 10 years now. Or even 5. But yes, lots of people work and get paid in crypto. Either a stable coin like USDC or USDT which is like = $1 USD. Or extra money in a token that 99% of the time they just instantly dump or hedge to realize its value in USD. You can get a higher total comp if you're willing to take some of it in a token. And even if it's locked, you can short the token to hedge to eliminate volatility risk.
