High scalability (i can configure what components and resources to have for my system);3. Updates don't mess with my configurations, also i can use a system which i don't have to literally unhinge for having updates not automated and mandatory;4. I can do with it whatever the fuck i want to without needing to "jailbreak" or "sideload" shit;5. The system doesn't shit itself if i switch some component (like the processor for example) or if i simply port the installation itself to another machine;6. Most of the time EVERYTHING works out of the box without configuring stuff;7. No arbitrary sw and hw limitations, i can slap it on a potato, a mainframe, a gaming laptop, whatever. Fucking works anyways.
It's good for privacy and customizable to whatever aesthetic you like

Genuinely just works.I have NEVER had a single issue in 16 years of using Linux that wasn't fixable by pinning packages or changing a config line. Though granted, I only started using it for more advanced purposes (everything that doesn't require windows drivers) since 2019.Windows on the other hand just keeps breaking. It lacks so many features. The fact that updates are mandatory and that something as TRIVIAL as implementing a "do not steal focus" window manager option isn't done is insane. The fact that the web browser has been the file explorer and desktop since 98 is just as crazy.On Linux, if it breaks, someone knows how to fix it. On Windows, if something break, you will NEVER find an answer other than "sfc scan now or reinstall", especially since every search result slot is hoarded by braindead normies on the MS forums.This isn't even about a weird autistic fixation on making a perfect OS, Linux simply just works better and has more features. Bootable BTRFS snapshots is something that Windows can only dream of, let alone kernel rollbacks and changing your DE.It just works.
