I had a job position where we only contacted for work if it was something dire, like necessary overtime due to deadlines or some such. At my current position I get spammed with messages frequently, work related or not, it's like I work all day long but no one else seems to mind it. They all live for work. Makes me want to go Ted Kaczinsky and elope deep into the woods just with my ancient thinkpad and tinker with linux all day long.
