I remember seeing some anons posting a link to a project trying to return old/retro youtube style, maybe it had "v" in its name, and was hosted on github. Searching the archive and google doesn't help. Thank you.

get startube too, it's a script used together with vorapis which gives you a list of specific years you can choose to get the style of. Personally I like the 2014 one

I already used vorapis and startube in the past, I just forgot their names. I prefer to keep it minimal as possible, because youtube will eventually change something that will break something, and you'll need to wait for every layer to be fixed, if the layers don't already have bugs.
