This has never happened to me on Ubuntu. When when I've upgraded versions (24.10 to 25.04) my tabs all restored when I opened Fire Fox.

My browser clears everything except bookmarks when I close it. I don't understand how people get so emotionally attached to their tabs that they have meltdowns when they disappear.
If you can't remember the website, it wasn't worth going to again.
