I'm seriously considering going back to W7. I don't play anything made past 2015 son I could use W7 exclusively for games and dual boot Ubuntu or Mint for web browsing and anything that requires internet and some level of safety.
Haven't done it myself, but why not direct the effort of downgrading to Windows 7 into trying Linux Mint instead? Only things I'd miss I think are all my games working and MS Office programs. Though I'm aware of open source and/or web versions of those.
