I teach English at one of the best universities in Southeast Asia and all of my students use AI.

I am required to inform them before a test or homework that using AI is cheating and could result in expulsion but everyone uses it anyway. My boss told me to my face stop complaining and use AI for grading so now that what I do.

Students should be confined to campus for the duration of their degree with no access to the outside world and only access to a library.

This is the only way. This has to be done, otherwise we are doomed.
