>yes saar just use the slow ass UFS 2.2 as RAM it totally wont rape it in a yearAnd I'm one of the luckier ones (if I enabled it) since they're shipping phones with eMMC storage that have the same feature. What's even the point of it? I haven't had any apps crash with it disabled, which is kinda impressive since 4GB is rock bottom for Android nowadays.
>>106773613You're just enabling swap file saar
>>106773613doesn't put memory on storage but compresses memory only downside is increase cpu usage to unpack compressed memory
>>106773613ikr just download more ram like everyone else
>>106773613It's just enabling pagefile or in linux swap. Most people never reboot their devices or clear apps out so it makes perfect sense to put the process in a sleep state and put it in swap space. It's far better than the "limit active processes" of the past and by the time you actually hit the R/W limit of the internal storage your battery is most likely <50% of its capacity.>What's even the point of it?People who are gaming and want fast switching between the game, insta/twitch/facebook(nonlite)/youtube/etc. If all you're doing is web browsing and discord or whatever, you won't notice shit since believe it or not Andriod is good on 4GB.
>>106773862No it isn't running any zip jobs, it will actively allocate 4GB or whatever to the storage of the phone to use as swap. If you don' have any issues with the current configuration or performance of your device no need to enable it.
